Hel go alright Hes got good size qbout him. Can he take naiqama place effective immediately? ?

Yeh the size is the key. Very solid for an outside back. He is not genuinely fast, from the highlights, but fast enough.

Adds some important depth to our three quarter line. He also means that players will need to perform as there is now some competition for spots in our backline.

Hes got the perfect centre build and pace. Id put him at centre. Mck to the bench.

Is it me or am i waiting for that bad player that we will sign. Like a eastwood or something. There is always one bad signing. 😂

Yep, we will probably end up with Lewis Brown or something

Every club ends up with a player like that. The real issue is if you pay too much for a "bad" player

Nope not just you, waiting for that signing too, probably Tony Williams or someone like that 😂

Exactly. Particularly, with moving to 30 man squads. The key is to get those players cheap and to pick the ones that can fill a numbers of spots at a pinch.

Welcome aboard M.W.Z!
Glad to hear Cleary has coached him previously and knows what he's like.
Hopefully he starts pushing for a NRL start. He has more size that our current outside backs in ISC.

This is some good sheez…
Love it ..

Keep on coming Cleary, i dont know how to contain my excitement

The 3 leaving will never be able to experience the Journey we as a club are on !!!

Yeah for some reason people are talking about him adding depth to the backline. I don't see anyway Naigama is a better option. I would play him tonight if we were allowed.

I didnt agree with you dropping Kevvy but i do agree with this one about MCK

I think he (MCK) offers a lot more from the bench as a utility .

I know Naiqama is not a crowd fav here but he does put in a lot of effort
Cleary is slowly improving the playing group and im sure its soon we will see much more out of Naiqama too

He does put in effort no doubt. But id prefer a winger to be big and strong or fast and tall. Hes neither. He gave away one stupid penalty last week and was lucky to get away with another.

He keeps his spot but he must improve.

Lets see how he goes today…hopefully Esan Marsters can go back into the pack,,,

Welcome to the Club Malakai..

You know who made some dumb errors last week ? Tim Grant!! He annoyed me big time

There are lot of boxes to tick here mate " winger to be big and strong or fast and tall"
Sounds like a bride with no compromise lol

No substitute for pace, for that reason gideon gela mosby is on my christmas list.
Speed is the only thing missing from our 2018 equation (IMO)

How is this "POSSIBLE"?

Packer was rumoured but if you've kept up with recent developments - he's likely to stay at the dragons.

And Sam Rapira !?
He's over in the Super League, close to retirement.

Anyway ~
Back on topic.

Confirmed and a very nice signing indeed.
One of the Panthers players, possible Merrin - said a few weeks ago that MWZ is just as good as his brother, it's just DWZ got his chance first.

This is a very solid signing and a good sign for things to come.

Packer is likely to jump ship Demps.

Dugan close to re-signing with Saints on a big deal. I think they will have priorities higher than Packer with their limited cap pace. Young Leilua will be in line to take over from him next year anyway.

I rate DWZ more highly. He is a touch faster than MWZ and has getter agility. But MWZ is a good signing of us and will do well.

Would love it if it led to us signing DWZ in the future.

We've seen MWZ in one first grade game.
So it's easy to say DWZ is better - however MWZ is bigger….

Still a good signing despite how you rate his brother better than him.
