Man of the Match

I remember reading one of the daily telegraph journos giving it to Lui actually.

Baaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Utai or Benji for mine.

I know I am biased, but I think Benji is the best in practically every game he plays (unless he has a shocker). Even though he didn't have moments of magic against easts, he still controlled play and made space in attack. If it was his first season I think a majority of votes for MOM would still go to him.

It reminds me of the NBA in 1997 when Karl Malone was voted MVP, even though Jordan completely shat all over him as an individual player, team player and general team influence. The MVP voters were just sick of giving it to Jordan.

Liam was my man of the match …... i thought he had an outstanding match.

I got home in time to see the second half replayed on fox and the commentary by Laurie Daley was atrocious.
He must have had his money on Easts ....... he was very biased.

It was hard to select this week but that's okay it was a team effort. Fulton shaded a few others for mine, he got through a lot of important work.

I think Benji was our best out there as well. Utai was also good as was Fulton.

A number of players had good games tonight but Fulton was noticeable from the start and continued through the game, he was switched on and determined.

utai, fulton, benji and also chris lawrence was absolutely awesome in his defence. his one on one tackling was huge and has improved out of sight.

i thought that ryles for the roorters was very good. his running and defence was the best, imo, of all the frontrowers on the field. i reckon he would be a good signing for the tigers for a season or two

You realise Ryles gave away 3 of Easts penalties?
