Manaia Rudolph

Yes he does, but maybe not with the Tigers.

Agreed and considering the majority of the youngsters the Tigers want to sign beyond this year seem to have already put pen to paper, Rudolph not yet one of them, as well as refusing to release him knowing they don't have any room or plans for him in the halves now or in the future….....

It's hard to say if his future is at the Tigers but it would be a real shame to lose such a talent!

I don't think so. Doesn't have that week in week out consistent performance and impact you see from the U20s players who have made first grade.

If Todd actually let Rudolph settle into a position like he has with him at right centre these past few weeks, he might have show some more consistency this season!

I think he is quality. The only thing that lets him down is his defence and that's because he's small. He'd be a great attacking fullback but he offers no defensive qualities, he'd be a great half but he offers no defensive qualities. He's a good winger but he's almost wasted there … He should take a year off and get on the juice lol.

I'm surprised BM96 or one of his other alias' haven't popped up in this thread. Seems up his ally.

Agree his defense needed much improvement but I think he's stepped up in this department this year and has gradually got better! His defensive stats for the last fortnight have been great! When I met him I was actually surprised at how big he actually was!

In saying that, he's not a FB, he's a 5/8 and I agree he's almost wasted out on the edge but what do you do with a player who's too good not to be on the field but you can't play him in his preferred position?!

I think it is unlikely but not impossible he will play first grade.

Last year when he was playing 5/8 consistently we were at our best last year, and thought he was pretty good.

HIs best chance is at another club.

I actually think he is a future superstar center.

everyone is entitled to an opinion, however, I believe he is along way away from being a superstar centre.

On average about 2 and half players per age group per club become regular first graders.

Our current side is strong, we will likely have more than that, do you really believe he is in our best 4 or 5 prospects?

Sironen, Tedessco, Lovett, Santi, Nofa, Brooks and Moses all look like first graders, with the potential to be more than that, there is a gap between them and Rudolf.

I mean at another team, I believe there are several teams after him but Tigers won't let him go. He has potential as a center and is doing well for the 20's. A smart coach like Hasler or Bellamy will sign him and that will boost his confidence.

He was seeking a mid season release to finish the year with Newcastle earlier this season. Not sure what happened with that.

I rekon he's one of the best U20s players going around. Unfortunately for him the players that are better than him are at the same club. I'm certain he will make first grade elsewhere. He's gonna be strong case of not being able to keep them all.

Several different clubs wanted him inc. Knights, Dogs & Parra.

Tigers wouldnt release him to the Knights, but his contract finishes @ the end of this season, i am sure he will go to another club for next year.
