My only point is that religion is not an excuse for bigoted viewpoints.
Thats not your only point, but then you do have many alter egos on here so can’t blame you for losing track.
You have also used this issue to abuse and label members in a bigoted way, and not for the first time.

and the woman in league are forgotten due to this inept bunch who run the game .
thanks to all the ladies , mums , aunts , Grannies who help out our great game without you there is no game , this was your weekend and still is
And the vast majority of those great women that give so much to the game, are not happy that the seven players sitting out this match are doing both the game and community a disservice, whilst also letting their team-mates down.

Like Hopoate in previous years, no play, no pay.

remember Ron Casey fight on TV, be honest you do, i can’t remember the other persons name or why they were fighting for , I just remember it was funny.
Ron Casey struck a nerve with singer, Vietnam veteran and proud Monarchist Normie Rowe. While Rowe was expressing his personal point of view, Casey sarcastically responded and insulted his honour as a soldier, upsetting Rowe immensely.
They walked towards each other and Casey got the first punch in.
I remember old Casey saying in another interview that he was glad they were restrained, " I would've had a heart attack if I had to throw another punch. Rowe would've killed me". 🤣

It's ironic that just days ago so, so many on this forum were abusing the NRL for doing what ever they like. Yet the NRL organised this without advising the players beforehand. Yes, the NRL do whatever they like and they care for anything else except the Million $s they rake in.

It's not the NRL. It's Manly. It's also a jersey supporting gay people who are a minority in society.

I don't get the argument against it at all.

This guy here is blaming it on colonization. He states prior to colonization pacific islanders were cool with gay relationships.

I reckon it's pretty bad in today's age that some people can't accept people who are gay. This is not stating people have to be gay. It's just stating give them some support rather than look down on them as sinners or bad people or something like that.

The same applies to what the NRL did to Wests Tigers on Sunday.
Nrl does not give two shits about the players.

The NRL is too busy making making their own agenda and ridiculous actions without informing the players.

In my opinion this is completely different. That was an atrocious display of referring and just as bad a cover up or whatever you want to call it after that. It was also from the NRL.

Manly have handled this terribly.

Good to see Trent Robinson speaking up about this issue and being pretty clear that he considers this discriminatory.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson has delivered an emotional response to Manly’s inclusivity jersey furore, insisting his club would have no problems wearing a similar design and claiming there would be an uproar if an NRL player decided not to wear an Indigenous-themed jersey.

“If someone said they weren’t going to wear the Indigenous jersey, there would be an outcry. Forty years ago, that wouldn’t have been the case. Eighty years ago, we wouldn’t have had Women In League Round. We’ve moved on those fronts, and we haven’t moved on this. We need to move towards it at some point.”
