Manly Team...

Api Koroisau says he's enjoying seeing the Tiger's success so far this year and that he used to be a Tigers fan growing up.

He is probably an MCK Fan (ex Manly player) so you better add Api to the MCK Fan Club Tacky.

No way Turbo is 100%. The depth is especially light at Manly atm. His rushed return and Paseka making an extended bench being some examples of this.

Korisau is a gun. Killed us in both games last year.

Um we were ripped off in the first game when leading 16-8 when Brooks was pinged for a dodgy knockon call when Kelly should have been penalised instead. We were left with 15 players when Liddle suffered his shoulder injury (last game since last week) & Joel Edwards failed HIA. We stuggled from the 55th minute to go down 28-16

4 weeks later we won the classic at Leichhardt 30-26 after coming back from 20-6 down at halftime. MWZ scored at the death!

So yes Korisau is good but this TIgers Team would have have beaten the 2017 team by the Straight at Randwick! .

I said Korisau killed us in both games last year…pretty clear that I watched those games. But thanks for the recap  I'll put it down to enthusiasm over the Leichhardt game. One of my favourite wins too. Read my post again - you'll see I'm not exactly giving Manly a lot of praise.

Sorry - Not meaning to have a dig - just that those two games, with the cattle we had, took a Very Strong Manly side to the wire. But as I said - this 2018 side would have wiped that 2017 Tigers mob - so sure Kori is good and should be SOO Hooker for The Blues but we shouldn't fear Manly especially with the loss of Lussick, Siro & Tafua which you are right = they are light on in depth. Yep, the Leichhardt result was wonderful! Cheers

“Hastings and DCE get physical

Manly officials say Jackson Hastings is not playing today due to an Achilles injury – and his absence has nothing to do with a scuffle at training with skipper Daly Cherry-Evans.
The Sea Eagles told this column things got heated between the pair. They ended up locked together on the turf at training last week.
I was told initially that Hastings belted DCE. The club says that wasn’t the case. Clearly something happened between the pair. Those who claim they saw it say it was worse than a scuffle. I’ll believe what a senior official told me as he has never lied to me in the past.”

Paseka will be interesting. Kid has all the size in the world, but FG is a different ballgame. Hopefully the Tigers work him over well today.

Well there's a target for Brooks, Liddle and Thompson in attack.
