Owned? I think not. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. However, if you call someone a "nut job" without giving any reason for this, well!! It says more about you than him. In my opinion.

@RBG said:Her tenure has been a complete and utter failure. She knows nothing about league and her incompetance is illustrated with her backing of one of the worst and unliked coaches in NRL history. Please Go and take JT with you.

Not having a go at you, but I'd be interested to know what she's done . The most memorable thing I've heard her say was a general complaint about how she was being treated by the media and Rugby League in general, without backing anything up at all.
It was difficult to understand what she was talking about.

GCT,I was referring to the media leaks and the rest of the bs that was evident nearly every week with the old board and crew, the JT and RF stuff should be shut down as well …we seem to be a more proffessionally run business than previous years...that was my main point, and M.Go is the one at the helm..

I agree , we seem to be better run than before, but Pascoe , IMO , deserves a fair bit ot the credit for that, He'd be more involved in that sort of stuff than She would.
But as far as leaks go. If posters can be believed, ( and one seems to be possibly legit)
There are much bigger leaks , with more detail than I've ever seen before.
I thought that in the interview that I mentioned , she was very unprofessional, it sounded like she was on a sympathy trip, not an interview, it rambled a fair bit.

@wd in perth said:Look, with all the people calling for the coach to be sacked for so long, you have to give the leaders of the club credit for sticking by him and holding firm. At the very least, they are bringing integrity back to the club. Without integrity, very few players of note are going to consider us as a viable option when the time comes that we're recruiting unless the opportunities elsewhere are worse than that which we provide. Integrity should be the foundation of this place. From there, we build.

i thought that was potter. if JT doesn't get the sack this year, will the next coach be in the same boat?
i believe in patience and maybe going backwards to go forwards. but sometimes you just gotta take a leap and go forwards. we haven't made the finals since 2012\. that's 4 years and counting. granted 2012 was a failure, but we were building something positive from 2013 onwards and apparently we are still building?
im not anti JT or anti board or anti farah. i just think that it's been long enough and we need to put wins on the board (something we've been doing recently). the NRL side needs to start winning consistently. there are other people who can look after the development and junior WT teams, the first grade coach and stafff right now need to concentrate on winning.

Tig_. I think that every coach is "interim" until our team are either regular finalists or win it. I see Brad Arthur and Shane Flannigan improving their teams each year but look at the personnel they have added. I also see Trent Robinson this year without key players and suddenly it's a different competition.
@tig_prmz said:we didn't sack potter. we didn't renew his contract.. not a major difference but it still does make a difference. the circumstances around the renewal also meant that re-signing potter would've been a massive risk. im still not 100% sure if it was the right or wrong decision in hindsight tbh.
no matter what eyes you look at.. we have a less than 40% (correct me if im wrong) winning record since 2012\. that's not good enough. right now, we're in form.. let's make a massive push towards the 8.
@sideline eye said:Marina Go has said many times, on behalf of the board, that JT will see out his contract with their full support. Yes, I know some will say that this is a death sentence for a coach but I believe her, given the amount of times she has said it. Wouldn't it be good if we could all just move on accepting that JT will be the coach until the end of 2017 at least and focus on supporting the coach and team. Am I dreaming? Probably.
