:crazy :crazy
Actually your inability to see JT's shortcomings would make you the zealot.
Please list for us JT's achievements since coming to the Tigers so we may be swayed, lead us out of our zealous ways.
I am happy to accept JT as the next messiah if you can give me a solid argument.
JT (and Potter ) were and are behind the 8 ball for so many reasons
They are still having to negotiate the atrocious dealings of previous management and still do
The fact that Curtis Sironen was able to take up an option that Grant Mayer created for almost $500 k in 2018 is proof of this
Something's just can't be changed over night and its going to take time or some smart decisions by the current management to get us back in a position of power
It drives me insane that people just can't get it
And based on our current outgoing incomings roster wise we might even go backwards again
But people need to understand we currently have many people in charge who are doing their best to get things right and ARE the right people
As I have said previously Jason Taylor probably won't get to see the hard work he has put in pay off , but in the future with hindsight many will thank him and the current management /board for the hard calls they made that NEEDED to be made
I hear you on the previous management issues but JT would have known that when he took the job. If it was a surprise to him then he took on the job without doing his due diligence.
JT when he first come on board said he was going to fix the defence and he hasn't, he said he was going to give us sustainable football and he hasn't.
That is what I'm judging him on. He tried to tell us that it wasn't about winning games which it is and I am yet to hear anything from anybody on his achievements?
I have said on many occasions that if JT turns things around I will be support him, I don't think the club or board should be discussing contract extensions with him until part the way into next season.
Teams lose games for various reasons Brisbane and Cowboys purposely go into heavy training a few weeks after SOO knowing they will probably drop a few games to try and see the big picture
The big picture for every club is to try and win premierships and sometimes you need to take some backward steps to move forward
The defence is improving slowly in certain areas , but we still get easily dominated by the top sides and bigger more mobile sides
Fans who think we can match it just yet with teams like Canberra and the Roosters just don't get it If they get an even share of possession and I reasonable completion they will roll us
Taylor still hasn't got a pass mark just yet but is heading in the right direction , but why fans are so dead against what he is trying to achieve just amazes me
Because as I have said repeatedly if he can get the plans he has for the club right ,and the board can get it right they will set this club up for a bright future both on and off field for many years to come
Something that every WT's fan should give their righty for 😛ray:
