Hes making a return this week for Wyong in NSW Cup, should we consider him? He would be great for us in my opinion, good mentor for young forwards, experience, tough, great player and good depth. Thoughts?
 
He's a bit to over the hill bro…..But he could turn out to be out Willie Mason so I don't know to tell ya the truth,I would have to see if he still has It, When he plays with wyong. after about 5-10 rounds i would make my decision.
 
I think for the first time we have some front row depth…

If we had a few injuries.. Maybe...

But we would have to be desperate.

I think we have better options then O'Meley now. Woods, Galloway and Taupau are definate first graders with the likes of Buchanan, Ava, Brown and a couple of U/20s forwards pushing their claims.

If we include Blair than we have enough depth. If we get some injuries then maybe.

When you think about it though, we still only have one prop at the club over the age of 24! Galloway. 2 if you include Blair. Gavet is 24 but hasn't played first grade yet so not exactly experienced.

He is only 32 though. Not completely past it, but with recent injuries you'd think the step up to NRL would be a bridge too far

I think he played one in 2012 against the Broncos.
 
You've had some cake-takingly bad idea's in the past Milko but this one truely takes cake.
 
he has done his time as a professional he was slowing down at the end of his bulldogs time and went for a break to super league . 32yr+ not many compete well these days he was never a fitness freak he was a hard arse metres man doubt he can compete with young fellas now .
 
The only reason he's having a run with Wyong is because it is not the NRL, he suffered a very bad knee injury while playing for Hull FC about a month before the finals and it was considered a career ending injury.
Ogre is only playing to have a bit of fun and add some guidance to the Roos, another crack at the NRL has long passed him by.

What a great result for the locals up that way… Take a Bow Mark, you are a Champion for going home and helping lift the profile of your junior team!
 
We have our own, younger version, 'Ogre' coming through in Nathan Brown.
Always thought O'Meley was ok - let him have a bit of fun in Wyong.

He would definitely be worth looking at IMO.

I think he owns too many pubs and that is where his future lies. From Wyong to the NRL at his age?? I don't think so.
