Yeah I would have done likewise, I think grub and Benji would communicate better but we'll find out in a few days time. I don't think Benji's defensive lapses have gone unnoticed.

All personal opinion, benji offers more in attack threatens the defence more then Brooks, Brooks never has a "BAD" game but if I had to choose between a halves pairing of benji and Josh or brooks and Josh, then in pick benji and Josh, I don't think Brooks is the answer for us, team still needs changes.

If you want to send a message to your squad then dropping Benji was the best way to do it. He is a legend and imo will be back in the side soon but the message has been sent and he wont crack the shits because he is 35 and in his last year.

Was Benji that bad on the weekend? he started doing his "crab" / sideways running a few times if i recall correctly.

I thought that Benji looked tired from the start of Saturday's match. As captain and play maker of a young team like Wests Tigers a lot of responsibility is on his shoulders. At his age he needs a break of a couple of weeks and will come back fresher than before.

I really do disagree. But I respect your opinion. You can’t have 2 erratic halves next to each other . Which is what you get with Reynolds and benji. Also defence is a huge problem .
I said in another thread that the proctor try was crap , as no way should grant have ever been standing next to benji . That’s garners and I believe Clark’s Fault. But still benjis first contact at the moment is really poor , he’s bouncing off a lot. Defence wins premierships mate. And Garner has been really poor since moving to the other side , for whatever reason.

It was questioned the squad list post , if the benji field goal wins the game like it should have , does benji still get dropped? I'm not sure ?

No doubt at all about what you said about defence mate, and I agree it's just a tough one , Brooks also doesn't seem like a steady the ship seal the game calm the boys down type of half either to me, pick your poison with our halves I guess lol

Yep . I believe in him . It’s clearly there. Maybe cheque’s Reynolds is about as running a five eighth as you can get , then brooks will have no choice but to be the man . This is the first time I think we will see Voldemort’s vision. Have they played together ? I know benji and Reynolds have but has brooks and jrey? At least we know there’s gonna be some mongrel on the field .

I think a shake up this drastic is a bit much - and believe me I was pissed at the Titans loss just as much as anyone.

Marshall is probably being dropped mostly because of his poor defensive efforts to start the season, which is fine... but 6 changes, if true, is just too much.

One, two, six or thirteen.... In the end it won't matter

It's a pretty small sample space as Josh has only played 14 games in total for Wests Tigers...

He has started 6 times with Brooks as his halves partner with 2 wins and 4 losses and twice with Marshall at 6 1 win 1 loss..the other 6 games Reynolds came of the bench
