Marshall is pure class. He hasn't had the best start to the season but his form over the last few years has been for the most part very good.
Off the field he gives the club great marketing opportunities and is a hero to many young fans. He also has a few great charities that he works with.
Signing him as a one club player is just awesome news.

He is synonymous with the Wests Tigers. I would love to see him back to his form of the past but would also hate to see him with another club if moved on due to current form, give him a chance to turn it around. Good luck to him he gets what the market is willing to pay.
X 2\. He is a marketing machine. Hopefully we can find him a halfback to compliment his game
@tominator said:Just a question. How much of the reportedly 800k a season will go towards the cap seeing as though he will have been at the club for over 10 years? Surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
@strrretch said:Mixed feelings….At his best, he's lethal, but his lack of consistancy and poor defence seems to outweigh his brilliance a lot of the time. There is no doubt he is a top bloke and i love it when guys commit to 1 club.
When he turns it on he is just a buzz to watch, though when he makes silly errors I just cringe, especially given the fact he is a senior player and silly stuff is not a good example for the younger players coming through.
If we can get him at a good price, thats great, if not maybe the money's best spent elsewhere.
I would like to think he'll stay and cut out the dumb plays, is that realistic?
