Marshall wants the Wests Tigers to retain Tim Sheens

I didn't expect anything else, he would have been asked the question so he had to answer it.

I'd love to see one week where we don't hear anything from our players though. Just shut up and play the damn game instead of telling us every week that you are going to step up this week.

I can't wait until next week. Our season will be over, surely none of them will feel the need to speak to the media!!!

Hopefully their madmonday celebrations will be behind closed doors :smiley: :smiley:
 
On a positive note maybe the snow ball is getting bigger. Seems to be a media piece everyday with some reference to Sheens and his appalling records over the last 15 years. Maybe the dogs are barking at camp Concord. Never happened before, Tim in the past has always told the scribes what to write and what not to write. I get the feeling the HEAT IS ON and this could be a major break through for the WestsTigers

Indeed it has, for seasons not a word has been mentioned about Sheens its always been about Benji but the ball is well and truely rolling. What i think we will end up with is the board having a chat to Sheens about the low standard of this season and telling him to pick it up. Then if we have a bad start to next season the heat will really be on.
 
I don't see how things will be any different next yr. Still no halfback, an unproven fullback and a coach whose lost the plot. Our recruits don't fill me with any confidence, none of them are better then what we already have. We'll be fighting for a spot at the bottom half of the 8 at best. I'd love to see someone come in with new ideas and see what kind of recruitment policy they put in place
 
Anyone get the feeling all of these stories have come from nowhere for some reason So what has really changed between say Round 21 and now

Maybe the club is behind these stories to try and get the boys lift to save their coach ( who won't need saving as Harry will look after his protected species )

Agreed hybrid, it's getting worse, what was it, like 5 times this week that the media have talked to players. I wonder if we would play any different if we had a lockdown one week.

In saying that though, what are the players supposed to say to the media? "Go away" or "No comment" That would just raise speculation. I would expect them to say something positive to avoid anything else going on in the inside.

My worry to, 2013 to me looks like another sad season if major changes do not happen and even if they do happen I really cant see a new coach being able to do much in a year but that is going to happen when ever Sheens finally goes.
 
we want wests-tigers to play well each week and consistently make the finals.

you don't always get what you want.

How come these other people who feel the same as you always leave it to you to say these things? discuss it in a meeting? rock, paper, scissors maybe? Bit hard for Benji to follow Sheens when Sheens hasn't left to go anywhere else

So your saying the Marshall/Sheens relationship is different to the Boyd/Bennett relationship? pfft please
