Wish I could afford Fox to watch a football show that was different to the 5 minutes of NRL discussion and 2 hours 25 minutes of rubbish. Until lotto lands, its breaking out the earplugs and trying to endure the hopeless attempt at dissecting the greatest game their is…... Hopefully Marty makes it partially tolerable.

P.S. don't need the argument about how to get Foxtel. I have too large of a mortgage and 2 kids under 3\. I get enough nagging from the misses and don't need it from here! :smiley:

You won't be getting any argument ryan,
Foxtel is absolute crap. Its only taken me about 5 years to realise I spend more time channel surfing than watching programs.
Save your money mate, 130 or so channels of nothing but repeats.

Yep netflix (or Stan etc) with a separate NRL live stream subscription is a far more cost effective option.

netflix is $8
and nrl is $3 per week

And for an extra couple $/mth you can get US Netflix (more movies and TV shows)

There's Aus and U.S. Netflix, plus you also pay extra per screen.
Still a hell of a lot cheaper than Foxtel.
I think I'm paying about $14/mth for four screens.

If you get Apple TV connected to your ipad you can direct the NRL live streams to your telly - works a treat :smiley:
