Match Review and Judiciary Thread

Wests Tigers forward Alex Seyfarth has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee over a tackle on Warriors playmaker Te Maire Martin in Friday night's 28-16 loss.

Seyfarth was charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact and faces a fine of $1800 if he pleads guilty or $2500 if she unsuccessfully challenges the charge at the NRL judiciary.
She?

Yeppers - straight outta NRL website:

It sounds like Anusley and his cronies are getting ready to suspend some of our womens team as well and they have not even played a game yet

A bit tardy with the round 21 report but here it is:
Note the Bulldogs have hit the lead for most fines and the Roosters keep copping suspensions 25 weeks and counting!

Round 22 Judiciary report.
A lot of charges and fines. This season seems to be heavily policed and we are seeing big results coming in for a lot of clubs. 8 clubs have posted fines at or above $20k. we are nearing 100 sinbins combined across the league and will get there with 5 rounds remaining. We are already over 100 weeks worth of suspensions combined. Its pretty crazy.

The suspension are crazy amount.

That’s 6 rounds for 1 NRL team (17 players) worth of suspensions.

Its funny that DCE and Luai escaped charge when they are the two who actually struck each other in the face LOL.
Also, Walsh should have got something for striking.

Walsh shouldve got something for being a cat...

Would be interested to see sin bins on opposition. Weve had 2 all year from memory and 1 was with 5 mins to go. The Dogs had a run of like 7 games in a row with their opponent having a player binned. Massive help in todays game.

Yeah, good shout man....
  • Only 7 from 20 games where we played 13 on 13 for the full 80 = 2 of them were wins.
  • There were 12 from 20 games where our opponents had an overlap for at least 10 minutes = 2 of them were wins.
  • Only the one game where we got the leg up of facing an opposition with a man down = it was a loss.
  • We have had 15 sin bins and 1 send off - Our opponents have had 2 sin bins.

Yes, he has had a shocking season.
He recieved a huge reality check last October. These guys who go from good players to 'superstars' in one year often find themselves standing on top of a house of cards. Without re-building the foundations in his game to match his status within it, he will underachieve from now on. This sort of penalty pulling crap is desperate play. He needs a lot of attention this next off seson.

Round 23 report
Just the one person on report from us with no charge.
6 weeks worth of suspensions handed out and lots of players on report.

The NRL have not charged Salad for either of his 2 "on reports" from last night.
BTW Kennar who was given 10 in the bin for his tackle on winger Luke Laulilii is facing a 3/4 week holiday - should have been a straight send off last night. Joke by the ref and bunker.

I reckon a send off has to come from intentional foul play with high force.
That was a reflex high arm grab for mine.
Sezer though…that crusher of his was dangerous. Very lucky

I thought Kennar's arm was worthy of 10.

It was a lazy arm that got him flush.

Sin bin sufficient.

Round 24 report
Crazy round...7 bins and 30 on report yet only 13 charges laid.
Our discipline has been good lately.
