Match Review and Judiciary Thread

Tucker,

Thanks for this - it is tracking better over the last couple of weeks. I was tyring to get into the depth of the data, but I'm having a bit of trouble understanding on report v guilty.
I can understand 17 on report and 15 guilty - so two got off. However, how do we get 9 on report and 13 guilty (Raiders)?
Similar in our stats - Sezer and Klemmer on repeort 3 times but 4 times guilty.
Maybe I'm just reading it wrong.

Cheers

They were not put on report by the referee during the game but were picked up by the match review afterwards.
I was looking originally to see how many get put on report and recieve no penalty but as you can see it pretty much evens itself out.
Probably should just change it from on report to charged.

The refs have all but dumped the disruptor - anyone remember the one Api got charged for at Campbelltown and now not a "classic hip drop" in sight. Every thing will be deemed "dangerous contact" aka Sezar and can be applied to just about any form of tackle when the ref sees fit.

Exactly. They should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute.

Thanks, was just trying to understand.
Now that I understand the background it makes sense.

I was just a little confused when I dug deeper into it trying to understand it a little better. The stat is telling.

Interstingly the win coincides with an improvement in both discipline and ball control and shows that at this level you can't gift opportunities.

You would swear that we were the better side in all aspects based on some of the posts since Saturday. I think the reality is that the Titans were better on both sides of the ball for most of the game. We grafted out the win on the back of their errors in attack gifting us field position and possession.

Very West Tigers like performance from them.

No he wouldnt have. It wasnt a tackle. He is one of the best in the comp aerially and was 100% trying to catch that ball and score. Sometimes shit happens in an ultra competitive contact sport.
Lomax feet never left the ground. Had the roles been reversed, we would have been in the bin. Players are now running with their eyes up, in an attempt to put players off. Disrupter. They have now got you bluffed as well as the referees. Happened again against the Titans. The player took a sneaky look just before entering the catchers area but still got away with it. Bluffed the bunker as well so don't feel too bad.

Bullshit.
Simple as that.

Was thinking about this thread today. The first 10
or so games we were the team that was back chatting
the most, yes we have a young team but it was mostly
the vets, klem, bateman & stuff leading the way in
this regard. We've been better as noted, keep it up

Round 14 results at the judiciary. A better week for us, still copped a sinbin, but with no charges.

You know...

At least our team has a record I can be proud of!
Sure were not winning, and we may get the Spoon again.
But at least, this is something.

Heck, next match I am just going to shout "cattledog" from the sidelines whenever it gets a little rough and see what happens 🙂

100%.
I was half expecting this sort of stuff from Sammy Fainu. He has been a saint compared to some of our most experienced.
We’ve been well controlled the past couple of weeks. Look who hasn’t been taking to the field.

Haha I'm sure heaps of people would have thought
Sammy would be the firecracker, myself included,
he's actually been the buy of the season so far imo.
