Would love to have him, but, Big Red is off contract next year also, and Woodsy is a must have starting prop. If we let Galloway go, then I'd be all for having a serious crack at Scott. But if we resign Keith (who could flourish under a new coach) then it's not worth signing Scott. One or the other. The reason for this is the price for both verse minutes played. If Scott was here (or Galloway) then I think the club would be better off having a "moderate" priced prop eg. Bell, coming off the bench that doesn't cost the club a quarter of the cap and will just do some dirty work in a quick spell.

Potter should give Naiyavaro a crack a first grade, he is big and fast, I personally have not seen him play but have read some stuff about him and if he takes on the line he would be great. I would like to see a prop rotation with Keithy, Woods and Naiyajaro but Keithy gets injured way to much so I would release him and sign another prop like Pritchard or Tollman.

You want to a player who you have never seen play before, play first grade

The Tigers have Galloway placed as the next priority re-signing after Robbie.

willow, do you know that as fact or are you just assuming? If true I find that quite strange. Personally keithy would be a lot further down and behind several other players in the squad.

It was mentioned by Humphreys in an article earlier this year. Galloway and Farah are the main two off contract in 2013, with Farah priority number 1, Galloway priority number 2\. Personally I don't disagree with this.

I would expect the likes of Reddy, Utai and Lote will all move on other things at the end of next season.

Imagine how good Woodsy would be with Scotty as his mentor. Imagine the two of them in tandem and then when they tire Galloway and Pettybourne (or someone else) replaces them...Benji would be like a kid in a candy store with the room he would have to move in.

Agree Happy. No chance but if we show interest (along with every other man & dog) it bumps up his price & potentially stops Cows from poaching one of ours.

Yeh why not have a talk to him but most likley we wont get him and im pretty sure we will be talking to heaps of players for the 2014 season as we have room to move after next year. And on Big Keefy i think he will be one of our best and under Mick Potter he will be a machine prop we have seen how good he can be.

Cowboys have some outstanding and monstrous young forwards coming through. Id keep one eye open for one of them rather than entertaining fanciful notions of signing Scott or paying the premium money he'd want to leave. It may not be necessary if some of our young forward shine in the opportunities they get.

We won't know though Happy until some of our young blokes are given a go in 1st grade. Remember when WT retained Woods in favour of Gibbs-not many people on here (myself included) rated Woods and thought it was a big mistake. No-one knew how great Woods would be this season, maybe we have a few more surprises in store from the current NYC boys. Here's hoping :wink:
