Matt Johns is the ultimate band-wagoner, he wouldn't work with our halves until they showed enough potential to be serious candidates for winning a premiership.
Had to laugh when he said about the NSW Origin players "I wouldnt want some of them babysitting my kids", sure Matty…they would be better off getting looked after by their lowlife gangbangin old man.

Ivan gives one of the Johns boys a run down on how he would like the halves to play and they go away and do their best to point them in the right direction.

I would image it would also be a big phycological boost knowing one of the Johns boys were in your corner.

Andrew Johns yes, he was a champion player-perhaps the best ever.
Matt Johns is just another 5/8th to have played NRL. Has about the exact same credentials as Bwaith- and he taught our halves jack while he was at our club.
Andrew Johns, Fittler, Lockyer or Sterlo would be worth having around, M Johns not so much.

Any of those 4 would be great.

No first hand knowledge just what I've read and heard, but Matty has been good with other halves in the past. But would much prefer one of the 4.

Agreed, great players don't necessarily equate to great coaches. In fact, some of the best coaches weren't really outstanding players at all - think Bellamy, Gould & Bennett.

Every time I click on a topic like I think knit might be something substantial or even a possibility or rumour that something MAY be happening.

Instead it always some fan, with a pie in the sky thought that is never going to happen.

I don't mean to poke at this topic in perticular and I do apologise to the poster but it just seems to me that more and more click bait is apprearing in the title.

Alternatively, could there be an option to read the first few lines of a topic so we can stop these wildly inaccurate titles.

Bob we always put *OFFICIAL in title threads when it's *OFFICIAL or from the Club re signings leavings etc…

If it does not have an *OFFICIAL tag you can safely assume that it's not before clicking..

That we use?? I honestly don't mind reading people's opinion and they are and should be valued.

The tags we use. Ow are really helpful when identifying topics to open or identifying what you are reading.

News website suffer from similar frustrations. Sometimes you are now halfway tgrough a news article before you realise it's an advertisement or an opinion piece. It's sad that sometimes journalists themselves cannot distinguish the difference.

It would be the first sensible thing that the club would be doing for our halves since the two kids came into First grade. Just hope it hasn't been too late for Brooks. It it was to happen.

You must be fuming then that our great hope next year is a convicted criminal who thought itbwas fine to bash people,
I don't remember Matt doing any prison time , do you?
As for a coaching brain , I suggest talking to Gould or Bellamy for their opinion.
You might get a shock

FBT was questioning the Character and suitability of Matt Johns.
I was just questioning what he must be thinking about having Packer at the club , considering that he's had a holiday at our expense .
I don't recall Matt Johns being charged for anything, let alone spending time in Clink.
I may be wrong on that. ButI don't think so.

Matt Johns was involved in a sexual scandal over the ditch a while ago I think. Maybe someone else can expand on it
