But then why bother coming back at all? If he was only after money he could have stayed in the UK the whole time and gone from one cushy contract to the next over there…

Wasn't the two players that were badly injured recently both from St Helens ??

If you haven't seen it yet , 1 player tears his hammy badly (off the bone I thought they said ) as he was about to score and throws a ball over his head to another player he kicks the ball on the half volley and breaks his collarbone as cannons into a steel post behind the dead ball area
