The need to hire someone that comprehends the english lingo….where I come from a gift card is usually exchanged for an item of some sort.

Clearly their unclear initial communication has caused confusion thus the need for a clarification

Not really surprised by the stuff up.

I received no more than 4 phone calls and 3 emails in the last 2 months confirming my family's details for membership renewal.

We were renewing, details were exactly the same as last year. How could they lose someone's name and date of birth from one year to the next. 😕 😕 :astonished: :astonished:

Oh well, bring on 2011 :wahoo:

Just to confirm, the ‘Gift card’ is a Membership proof of purchase card for your package. Is the package for you or are you giving it to someone for Christmas?

To sum it up, it is basically a confirmation letter of your Membership purchase to place in a Christmas card to give as a physical gift as the Member Kit will not be ready.

Thought we would cross the line that divides by becoming members of a professional organisation, when all one gets is false promises. Hope the staff enjoyed their harbour cruise last Wednesday afternoon (22/12) while others were busily running around trying to ensure that gifts would be available instead of the so called member kits.

Hopefully the team will be more professional on the field than the membership departments.

I dont want excuses, and considering this has happened 2 years in a row now, I just hope they address this issue and move forward to ensure it doesnt happen again…

If its due to the fact that the membership numbers are up at this stage compared to any time previously then well who are we to complain?
Rather that than getting an extra bodgy hat cause they overestimated and numbers were way down

a work mate of mine, supports the rabbitohs, he gets his kit on time each year.
in saying that, just gonna have to wait for kit to arrive, which is no problem.
we wait from October until Feb for footy season to arrive.
I'm just glad, I am lucky enough to get one.

Will probably buy my membership next week. Don't think there's any point me getting one with a seat included, since I'm not able to get to games. I'd rather leave seats available for people who CAN get there. So I'll probably just get a Stripes membership this year.

Oh I will be. I went to the Leichartd game against the Cowboys last season and sat near the cows bench and absolutely gave it to Willie! Best time ever. Hence the reason I've gone back to Leichartd with my membership.

My favourite piece of this fiasco is my wife got me a membership for xmas unbeknownst to me, and I get a text three days before xmas saying there was a delay with the shipping of my kit…
