any thread where you pick a player you would like and say that would be cool if we had them, is not overly realistic.

Scott Anderson from the Broncos or Dylan Napper from the Roosters at least both are a realistic chance.

With Galloway out for up to 4 months it goes without saying that Wests Tigers must look at how much they currently have left to spend on players and buy ASAP an experienced, capable, no-nonsense prop at a no-nonsense price. I don't think you have to be genius administrator/coach to work that out. So why is it not happening?

It probably is, but not publicised. Cashmere and Skandalis were not world beater, but toilers. We need someone a bit better than them. Maybe a ex 1st grader playing for a local team. Look how Mason is going now, we had our chance and faltered. we need to find the next diamond in the rough. The only problem I have is I wouldn't know where to start. Will leave that to the recruiters. Good Hunting guys!!!

I think they should look young…. we have young but seasoned enough heads in the pack now to give some guidance and show leadership for blooding young guys. Every big name prop didnt have a name when they started, so I see no use in chasing them, nor a broken down warhorse whos best days are past, give a kid a chance.

Yes we are kind of short now, but as it stands we dont need a massive minutes forward, we still have enough impact and solid proven pigs, we just need someone to fill the gaps for breathers. When Galloway, Groat and Gavet come back, we will have an abundance of forwards, all capable. For now promote a young prop for match payments, lure one out from another club if possible who is behind an extended pack say St George youth program, and if it works out have an inroad to a contract. Young guys wont eat up the cap.
