You're also forgetting Origin star AJ Brimson, Liu would mix it with most of our pack fairly easily, I'd have Isaako over Laurie... There's a few others - But they're better than us on paper.
As were the Warriors, As were the Knights, As were the Storm....

Just because they're missing a few players - We're automatically supposed to win?
How, If the players that are playing are in a majority better than ours... We're not going to win.

It’s possible. But only if they play with teamwork and determination.

“Externally, people want to make out we’re a club with all these dramas,” Maguire said. “But as long as everyone internally stays the path, I’m not concerned.”

I can confirm that the hierarchy of the Club (Sheens/Pascoe) believe this 100%..

Maybe that is the problem..instead of ignoring the outside noise ..believing they are on the right path ..pull theirs heads out of the sand ... take some action..

Good to hear Maguire is getting support from Sheens etc.
The media will do whatever they can to amplify the common belief that our club is a shambles. As long as the blokes within the club are pulling together the media can crap on about whatever they want. Haven't heard one scathing bit of media in regards to the Broncos, they're only 1 win in front of us and got absolutely pasted on their own dunghill by a very average club in the Cowboys.

I want to win too... But I'm not surprised when we play a better team and don't...
I certainly don't blame anyone and want them sacked.

There's ZERO perspective here.... On paper, The teams we have played - Are better than ours.... Everyday of the week.
The bookmakers know it, The media around the game know it....
Even those who do pick us - only do it because they know anything can happen
(And sometimes does)

Yet AFB, Walsh and Curran all played on Friday and we should of beaten them.

I'd have Curran in our team for sure, great player who plays flat out every week. Walsh and AFB are overrated IMO. Decent players, but very inconsistent.

We need to play at 110% for 80 minutes
- And the other teams need to play below 60%.
That's the kind of disparity in the rosters....

Last year, I'd say we had a better squad than the dogs , But that would have been it.
- Not so this year...
We simply don't have any out and out game breaking superstars...

And all the other teams do... Even Brisbane when they were getting the spoons.

The Warriors aren't better than us. They've got Marcelo Montoya in their team, they are hardly worldbeaters.
So just because a team is a slight outsider with the bookies means they are no chance of winning? It wasn't like we were $6 outsiders and stood no chance.

They may well be - But you have to pick a Fullback, Walsh or Laurie - Which one?
Don't insult me by saying Laurie.

Stef is our best Front Rower, Is he better than AFB... Not at the moment, (Maybe on par, At best.... Maybe in the future.

Curran is better than any of the rest of our forwards, Probably a higher level than any of our Forwards in any position.

No they're not - But they have more Worldbeaters than we do...
The Warriors would almost equal, or best us man for man, In each position for the majority of the 17 that played the other night.
And they've got more than 1 game breaker....

No one picked us to beat them, And we didn't...
Could have and should have means very little...

We're favourites for the spoon based on the squad that we have, Not the way we're coached.
If Madge was coaching a team with Haas, Staggs, DCE, Murray and Latrell.... He'd be an amazing coach - He's not, So we should sack him.

The bloke is loyal to a fault, but at least he's a staunch fella. He'll go down swinging. Would love him to stick around the club in some capacity for a few more years, he's got some cajones about him and our club needs that from top to bottom before we start to see some success. He'd be a bloke that wouldn't let his mates down in the trenches.

The Warriors are better than us? We'll finish 16th and they'll be 15th so with that logic you are probably right. They are as bad as us. As inconsistent as us. Have had no success recently like us. So you think we should never be in a position to beat a team like the Warriors? Give me a break.
Yep, you would probably go with Walsh, but not by much IMO. Laurie has been mud this year but for the most part last season he was reliable and consistent.
And no, we shouldn't sack the coach. Sack some underperforming players out there dropping balls, missing tackles and just being hopeless in general.
