Your right, they were really competitive in 3 games so far not sure when but reckons he lost the dressing room, guess the parra game will be the litmus test.
 
They should have let Madge go well and truely by now.
You can see very clearly that the playing group are not happy and he definitely would be the main reason why we are unable to attract the top line players we need.
As soon as we get rid of Madge the better for all concerned.

The main reason we can’t attract players is the same reason it’s always been. The club itself.

I just think it’s refreshing that for once Ricky puts the blame on his players and not the referees.

It's a cliche, but teams do forget how to win. They lose confidence etc. It's the coaches job to manage that and a big part of that is to know the players personalities and what makes them tick.

Congrats to the team today. When they do the basics well, they are solid. They should have won 3, maybe 4 games this year but didn't. If they had Hastings for warriors and titans managing the game then they probably win.

Let's hope they can kick on.

P.S - Toa at centre, Deouehi at lock. Move Peachey to reserve grade until he learns to keep his shit together We don't need another overpaid penalty giver-away.

Anthony Griffin? No way...

I don't think Madge is long-term solution but changing him now seems a bad move.
 
I reakon we give Madge till around round 15 then decide weather he is the coach for us next year if we fall back into a slump and loose another 5 in a row get rid of him but if the teams keeps playing like they did yesterday then you add Adam doughi Shaun blore issahah papali and api to the mix there is a top 8 team
 
I would keep solid with Madge, unless we start copping some real hidings. The players seem to like the bloke and regardless of our results seem to be trying for him. He is working with limited talent and when players start coming back, like Hastings did yesterday and Douehi and Stef then he should be judged, not on the first five games.

We needed a win though.

I know a guy who works at the club and he really likes Madge. I also met a gun junior who said that Madge had talked to him about his game and he seemed to like Madge as well.

I don't see Madge as the problem but we need to win more games.
