Our pathways are already in place.. I genuinely thank Madge for the part he's played in getting it to where it is but theres a whole team dedicated to pathways, the organization drives the initiative and spearheads it not Madge. The key difference between now and then is that we finally had the money to invest in a pathways now. He's not the be all end all..these kids that are coming up are playing for a career, money and family, not Madge. Sad he probably won't get to see It grow.
Edit: This is a results orientated business, we need to stop mugging ourselves. Just imagine if he gets another stay of execution until the end of the season, not only will we look like bigger mugs but we'll struggle to attract a new coach and players given the nature of this business.

Yeah bro, we can't wait and stay cemented at the bottom, these kids don't want to play for losers they want to play for a winning club, or at least one that's on the up and showing some promise. They'll get poached if we're not carefull...
If Hastings follows Madge I’d offer Marquee money to Burton.
We need a kicker. Pair him alongside Doueihi and you’ve got a solid halves pair.

I think Burton a gun in the centres but a huge reason the Dogs struggle to score at 5/8.
How do you know these kids will be good enough to be poached...reality is players like Api and Papi that are coming next year want to be coached by Madge,Hastings speaks highly of him and Jacko has been one of our best...
You can rely on the kids coming up for your next premiership,but 90% of them dont make the NRL grade...
Madge has been doing his best with what he has got in amongst a rabble of a club,as far as these kids WANT to play for a winning or up and coming club,they would be happy to get an opportunity with any NRL club No1 ranked or bottom feeder..
To make any NRL team is a dream for kids...

Something along those lines he didn’t want to be the sole marquee. We still had Benji but the signing of Latrell was seen as a new direction/ generation signing.
Anyway he chose to go to the club where he could blend in and not stand out.

- anyone out there in the game can see forest, we sack Madge - all they do is say they sacked the only bloke trying to get that crap roster up every week for 4 years… why go there.
There isn’t a coach that thinks he can get our roster firing - or we’d be in contact, and would have options last year…
No one wants the club, no one wants the roster… sometimes you gotta take what you can get, we’ve killed every coaches career we’ve ever had - what up and coming coach would want that? And the only coaches that would entertain it - are the ones no one else wants (and for good reason)

The only coach worth signing is Flanagan but he has baggage, and his boy. Nobody else is worth it at the moment.
Fair enough if you want Madge gone but wanted to see how he'd go over the next few weeks with key players back....And a bit of match fitness as well.

Well, the football department is only a few months old with Sheens at the helm.
He only played in the centres the first time in his career last year. He did a good job yes. But his best asset is his boot. He can kick it long, high or low from anywhere.
He is 22. Plenty of time to build a solid game.

Yeah I didn't want to say it because I Didn't want to get other posters offside (haha) but flanno would suit us. He has charisma, connections and enough of a footy brain and street smarts to get us going. That's fair what you've suggested, Id like to see Madge maybe given 4/5 weeks after the bye to see how it goes Max and move on

Which available coach would you suggest then? And don't bother replying if you're thinking Flanagan. He should be nowhere near any NRL club let alone ours
Mind you this will be our 6th coach in 11 years if Madge gets the sack
Api and Paps aren't going to make a fart in a hurricane's difference to this team if we're still poorly coached and the players have the same shit attitude.
