Mick "Harry" Potter

He believes in his players and now they are repaying him back and playing for him.
These young juniors would never got a run if sheens was still here.
I really like the new direction the club is headed. Always starts at the top!

He seems quite defence orientated. I would like to see a little more in what he can coach in attack - if we can threaten teams more with ball in hand we'll be in good shape.

our defence was great tonight I thought, even though the Storm attack was no doubt blunted by the heavy track

I was aiming for about 8th at the start of the year, but with the injuries I reckon Potter's done fantastically well if we come anywhere from 8-10th or so

At the start of the season Mick was a stranger to a first grade side he was coaching. Since then he has earned the trust and confidence from his side and moulded them into a team that is now starting to really play like a team.

the whispers about board members wanting to tap him (had a few so no daily Terror links) are terrible, He's done a top job with what he's been dealt. hes just what we nee an if folkes comes on hopefully he can concentrate on coaching attack, rather than basic skills

Credit to Potter. He's handled everything head on, hasn't shirked his responsibility for one moment. We had all heard about the struggles he endured at his previous club, the sacrifices he had to make. He's a good man MIck. I'm really happy to see that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting stronger.

It's not just the pommy players that switched from the ESL that are proving they have what it takes. The coaches have a lot to do with it over there and have obviously lifted the playing standards. The NRL is benefiting from people like Potter and McGuire from the bunnies.

Let's face it. The board that is supposed to be in control of the direction of our club is part of the problem, not part ofhe solution.

Despite the injury setbacks this year I can see a growing confidence, toughness and commitment in this side and I credit Potter 100% for this improvement in Attitude !
