I really have concerns over next year. We're cleaning out the ranks but replacing them with no one.

I'm not sure exactly what Potter is supposed to have done here when he has a record injury toll, dysfunctional board and senior players that don't want to tackle.
While I agree with that, he should at least have the young blokes improving. Big Ben has looked excellent the past few weeks and yet Potter gives hacks like Anasta and Thompson all the game time. Lawrence is done and a center, yet Potter won't move him. Potter has already said Braith is next years 6.
Any team with Braith Anasta at 6 in 2014 will not get near the finals. Potter needs to be much more aggressive and innovative.
@Eddie said:Why all of a sudden is an old and out of sorts Anasta playing in the halves? after playing bench backrower most the season?
Why is Ayshford playing first grade, when he asked for a relase and has been horrible all year?
Why is the side completely unmotivated?? Even Farah looks jack of it all.
WHy is the defense getting even worse??
Sheens created all this mess i know.
However I thought i would see little improvements as the year went on. However questions at least now must be raised about Potter's ability to select and motivate. Which is a worry.

Sheens didn't create this mess. He created a different one but for the most part the side played for him. Don't forget we won seven in a row last year. It seems clear to me that Potter has failed to earn the respect of his players. You can see in every press conference that Potter's relationship with Farah/Marshall/Fulton is dreadful.

Long term, we have a hell of lot more going for us than a team like Parra. We have good juniors coming through. Not all of them will make it, but there should be enough of them to improve us.

Cut more dead wood
I can handle another season of pain if it means we get rid of all the sooks, malcontents and oxygen thieves we are currently paying

Yes he is doing well with that. However he must wake up the fact that playing some of these guys might cost him his job before he gets a chance with a new side. His selections the past 2 weeks have been awful.
@hybrid_tiger said:I want to give Potter time, but he has to dump Ayshford and Marshall next week, no excuses.
@MacDougall said:Man I'm pretty sure this mind boggling second tier salary cap joke is actually preventing us from dropping non performers right now.
