One things for sure, if Richo was still here, Benji wouldn't be locked in till 2030... Hed be accountable... Doubt he is accountable to anyone ATM...

Whatever their main colours are its.never been strictly enforced what they wear and where it is...i remember for some time it was called main and alternate...i think home is now more marketable as its evident its a big big deal to someprevious years the jersey they have said in the club website has been the home jersey is teh home jersey
last fews years that has been the black jersey.
This year they quietly flipped that
Yeah...i had to search to check what colour was last weeks gameI've actually never noticed this year which jersey we were wearing and I've been to most of the home games.
Do we think that maybe the players loyalty to Benji and Benji alone is because the players lost faith in the system last December? Now the knee jerk reaction to lock him in till 2030 means the club is trapped. Can't sack Benji without blowback from the players now....culture will be shot..
Where as if Richo had stayed and Benji had to perform for his contract, it all plays out the right way..
The implications of last December are still a problem for us and will be until 2030 unless Benji can turn this around... Isn't looking great after the mid season capitulation l2 seasons in a row
I'm not suggesting they are pissed off now. I'm suggesting that when it happened, they lost faith in the club and Benji rallied them together.. now he is the glue holding it all together... But because of the knee jerk reaction to sign him for 5 years now the club has no choice but to stick with Benji regardless of results, because sacking him has the potential to throw unrest amongst the roster.Maybe. …at the end of the day ..a lot of them are paid big money to play well and get results … the past 2 weeks the games have been primarily lost on the field through poor play …they might be pissed off about what happened 6 months ago… but no doubt they are still happy watching those tens of thousands go into their bank accounts every month …where is the pride ?

Its a shit show.
And that's a coaching issue. A coach we are locked in till 2030. I think he was only contracted till the end of 26 or 27 prior to the extension wasnt he?I can’t argue with that being true ..we don’t know though about what is going on inside there though to do more than speculate
All we see is the efforts on the field each week and the results of the coaching strategies and selections ..which are all seemingly lacking week after week

My point is that sacking the board and letting Richo step down created a power vacuum. The players have now aligned their loyalty entirely with Benji, an unproven coach. This puts the club in a terrible position if they need to move him on, because right now, with four seasons left on his contract, he isn't accountable to anyone. If it was the right decision to make, then Richo could have shown him the door the right way. That can't happen now. If Benji is let go early there is a blast radius of players attached to the decision. The length of coaching contracts dont mean what they used to… they don’t seem to get the full payout if they get released early ..
What’s your main point ,,,you want him to be sacked this season ?
