Might have a lot of enemies after this post but here goes...

I know what you're saying Anthism but it's not just the injuries he's already suffered (can't believe i'm saying that) it's the injuries he WILL suffer if he keeps running like that. It's physics. And yeah no need for snide remarks champ. I live rugby league and have done since i was 4 which you'll soon discover with my future insights and analysis of the game

Hell, I can't wait for that….someone to give insights into the game after regurgitating what Phil Gould says. Analysis, you said? Spare us. Stop now!

Even if he is injury prone he must be signed at nearly any price as he is a true star could be our new wonder boy now that Benji has gone.

Our team is well balanced so we can "carry" a injury risk star.

The way he runs and steps at speed through the middle building on the foundation of our quick forwards given a good run with injuries we could go all the way.

Also being a magpies junior if he is released it send at a bad signal after Fifita and Gibbs and also the club not securing Hayne and others way back.

Come on guys…Everyone has the right to opinion. At least he had the guts to come out and say something different and not just follow the herd. If everyone had the same opinions on everything then this forum would be very boring.

Let me throw around a few names of players who have spent notable time out injured, to illustrate how Tedesco's ordinary run of injury luck compares:
Benji
Siro Jr
Galloway
Lawrence
Woods
Moltzen
Payten
Fulton

That's just a few in 10 seconds of thought.

Teddy isn't developing repeat injuries, he just has some back luck like plenty of other footballers. Sure he's still a little skinny in the legs, but watching his physical development over the past 12 months, there is no reason he cannot continue to work on his resistance to injury.

He's not Luke Douglas, but I don't want Douglas running around at FB for the Tigers.

Are you the second coming of Einstein. If you're not then I suggest you leave physics out of it.

No one knows how many injuries he will suffer. Time will tell. If that is his running style I say let him run the way he wants too. He looks pretty good out there to me.

I don't see the issue at all. Yes he has had some injuries but so do most players because it is a tough physical sport.

I doubt you would create any enemies from the content of your OP, as this is a forum for discussion. However, you should not be surprised to have made some following your replies to their opinions, which were informative and respectful.

FFS This thread is a joke. One of our best players suffers an injury and people are calling for him to not be re-signed then when he leaves and represents Australia everyone turns against the club "why did we let Tedesco go". He is 21, he is still getting used to playing with bigger guys, most players start their career like that, give him time.

Milky mate read my post - I didn't say don't sign him - I asked the question would we get more value aiming for multi-resignings such as nofo siro and another centre at good value.

You people know I'm making sense no I'm not trolling in any way.

Plus I said sign him by all means if it is under 450k

Someone please explain how I am trolling???

Why don't you just leave the poor kid alone. There are 40 other players who we could talk about but 50 pages later talking about his contract is not enough lets start a new topic…Leave him alone.
Leave the guy to rest up. As fas as Phill Gould goes he doesn't know what his talking about.
Tedesco's running style has nothing to do with his injury. The fact he plays the game hard and fast could have something to do with it.
Anyhow keep starting this crap and he will have good reason to go elsewhere.

Some people get so excited when someone in our team is running into great form and just put on the blinkers and ignore absolutely everything else AKA other players that may end up getting us more value over the long term (siro, nofo, sue, possibly koro if he smartens up).

Let me ask you a question…what wil give us more value Teddy at say 650k or Nofo at 250 and Siro at 400k?

Think people - Ted looks great but could easily dissapoint like Dugan, Barba etc

And Fumbles get a grip on reality bud no tigers players read this especially not Tedesco in what will be most likely the biggest contract period of his career - Why should we not talk about this is a forum and it it is incredibly important to our club.

Some people on this forum just like to be critical even if what they're saying is pure rubbish

NEGATIVE AT ALL COSTS! Thank to some people who understand what I"m driving at.

A fullback is more important to a team than a winger so I would take Tedesco…

LOL milky i've been reading your posts for years and my first one is literally better than any you have ever posted and 95% plus of the forum would agree even if they don't want to admit it - so yeahhhh don't be angry if I don't take your comments too seriously mate

Sirro is far more injury prone than Teddy, but i would like to keep them both, but the OP is right we can't throw stupid money at him to stay, and I think Mayer knows this, and that is the sticking point.
