Mitch Brown (what has he done wrong)

Does anyone know why Mitch Brown continues to be overlooked for NRL.

He is built strong and has a bit of pace. His support play needs improvement.

He was our full back for the last 6 games and was solid at the back yet has been overlooked for the first two games. Can't even get a spot on wing (better than Utai) or bench.

Is he a poor trainer? Poor attitude ? Has he fallen out with Sheens (The Fonz)?

From memory he struggled to cement a NRL spot with Cronulla. Is there a trend.

Looking forward to hearing "Balmain Bug" opinion plus others

He did nothing wrong, I would have him in the side for sure. He won't win you a game, but we have enough match winners in the side, what's important though is that he won't lose you a game.

I hope you are correct Balmain Bug as I thought his form last year warranted first go at full back. McKinnon to me is a shadow of the former player he use to be. Age and doggy hamstrings are his main problems.

I would also prefer Danielle on the wing ahead of Utai. Danielle scored 4 tries against the Warriors last year and his defence improved. Has more pace than Utai.

Couldn't agree more. Daniela is a safe player who will get the job done & try his best.
He has it all over Utai and I can't understand choosing MT over Geoff.

He does love Brown he tried to get him in 07 but Cronulla beat us to him with a 2 year contract h emust figure somewhere either wing or if Mackinnon does not improve at fullback . I brought up on another thread that we could play Moltzen at hooker in attack and rest Farahs groin . In defense I would bring lawrence into ruck Brown into centres and Moltzen at wing as he is good under high ball Its complicated but could work . Moltzen could be dangerous sniping out of dummy half and has combination with Benji already there Probably get smashed for this just an idea

Mitch has to tear up the Vulcans this weekend, He will soon be back in FG.

The guy has honestly not put a foot wrong in FG last year in either wing or fb position.

He makes good metres from dummy half and has a habbit of getting a quick play the ball after tackled.

I would pick him in front of Utai and McKinnon no worries.

How many Tries has he scored?

Judging by his useage last year, he is only a backup for NRL and doesnt feature in Sheens prefered backline...

I only see him as a player who is at State Cup Level...

This thread isnt about McKinnon… Its about Brown, and unfortunately I dont see Brown as a NRL Standard Player!!!

The guy doesnt even play Fullback in the BRET team??? Brown is a band aid, pure and simple....
