Mitch Brown

Just wanted to say well done mate. Thought he played really well today in defense and attack (apart from a spill that caused a try, not the easiest or luckiest of takes).

A bloke who goes about his job professionally with a no fuss attitude to where hes fits into the 17\. Not the greatest of players, but a reliable and safe utility (and probably deserves a spot every week).

Well done browny and I for one hope he gets a new contract with us. If not, he's one player I wish all the best to in the future.

I think we need him in the 17 come semis time, even when the team is at full strength he deserves a spot.

…...... and may I say, he gives 110% effort every time he plays! The 110% efforts of Chris Heighington, Beau Ryan and Mitch Brown, who may not be blessed with the spectacular football skills of others, are critical to the success of the team.

He MUST be re-signed.

x 2 We must retain him for a couple of seasons At least til Tedesco and Noefaluma are ready for top side

Good game from Mitch, threw a couple of wayward passes and dropped that bomb.
He's yet to find that form he was in at the end of last year, but that can be put down to him not being given the opportunity to nail down one position for more then a week at atime.

Hopefully he gets a new contract for next year and is given a crack at the FB role.

I really like brown in the squad. He is big and skillful. Just needs a run of games to gain some confidence.

The miss yesterday was bad But I have seen more highly fancied full backs drop easier bombs.

He was Lawrence like in defense yesterday big and strong. Got to be the back on the bench come semi time if everyone else is fit

Gotta say I like Mitch Brown…always putting his body on the line....but he dropped a sitter yesterday that led to a soft Eels try...not much was said about it...now If Moltz dropped it there would be a thread dedicated to it!

i am a fan of mitch brown and he is the type of no-nonsense, honest player that all teams need to have. i reckon that with more opportunity and playing time with benji we will see brown keep on getting better each week. i know that when lawrence returns he more than likely wont be in the run on side but imo he makes the perfect backs ' benchie ' if used properly

Much better option than MacKinnon or Utai on the bench.

I would prefer him to be our fullback, but that is not going to happen!

He's got great attitude since coming to our club and seizes every opportunity. He needs to play fullback again, his efforts last year at the back were one of the real reasons we got that far!
