Mitch Brown

answered every question that was asked of him, made some valuable meters coming off our own line. he did his job very well.

i would give daniela a chance before tuiaki gets back, but no need to drop brown after tonight

His quick play the balls were one of the reasons we got off to a good start. Quiet second half but a very solid performance.

Spot on… our first try was of the back of Ryan, Ayshford and Brown making 50m - 60m in 3 tackles due to smart dummy half running and quick play the balls...

Brown did this on a few occasions. It really impressed me. Didnt see much of him afterwards admittedly. He cant be criticised for the grubbers. No room to work with meant it was really his only option.

He was OK, but wouldn't be in my full side.

On another note, Ryan was outstanding at FB.

I agree completely with both comments. Beau was sensational and has been steadily improving for the last 6 months.

I will say that brown did enough that I would be comfortable if he is used again when we are short.

im salivating at the thought of tank on one wing and tuqiri on the other …..

dont get your hopes to high for it being soon, at the game last night he was still limping and said he still could be 12 weeks away

as for mitch, i thought he played ok, ran back hard got a drop out made some decent meters, definatly offers more then fitzy, i wonder if it was a late decision to play beau there though, during the warm up mitch was fumbling alot of kicks put in his direction, just an observation.

overall id give his performance a 7/10 he did nothing wrong

I don't think so… The moment they ran out Lote and Brown were warming up on the wings and Ryan at fullback...

I wouldn't drop Brown after last night's performance. I do think he could run a bit harder at times but maybe it's just a confidence issue. I'd keep the same backline for next week.

Correct….

Masterstroke ....Sheens...

Brown retains his spot against the Green Machine for mine...

I didn't notice him all that much. In a general assessment I'm in complete agreement with Kaiser.

One thing I did notice was he had a fair bit of pace.

I can't agree with the criticism of Mitch Brown. Everytime he kicked it was the correct option and they were decent kicks. Try was not his fault. I'm sure the other 12 players and the 20 000 people at the game were expecting another bomb.

Worked well with Beau Ryan and made a lot of runs to take the pressure off the forwards.

He played well I thought. Ran well from dummy half and put in a couple of grubbers that produced good results. Should be named next week.

i'd still like to see Pritchard given a chance -

he played a big part in the lead up to our first try.
did great to get up with a quick play the ball.

not bad at all.
played just how you want a depth signing to play.

i didn't have much confidence in him,but he came up with a game i can't complain about.

yeh, but wouldt it be nice for pritchard to have a chance. just to show us what talent he has. what do we have to lose?

Well talent in state cup sometimes does not translate into talent in a friday night blockbuster against Parra.

Mitch Brown has NRL experience and delivered on the night.

I thought he did a great job.
