This aint good for our club. Both are not winning us games atm and like someone said when one plays well the other doesn't and if they get good they might be gone anyways.

Both are showing promise but our attack is breaking down in the halves atm causing team to be predictable and hence not wearing opponents down thats why we often don't do well SH of games.

And to think we were slow to sign teddy!

A hodgo or Maloney with their kicking game alongside one of them wpuld work wonders and improve their game.

Now we are committed but they aren't so were do we go from here?

Just have to wait and hope.

You're 100% wrong Milky Moses and Sirro both will receive 600k 2017 plus THEY have the option to stay…..I know its hard to believe .Ive never heard of such contracts given to Rookies...Why do u think they sacked Grant Meyer....He got them into this salary cap mess...Why u think they wont drop Moses back to NSW Cup....cause they're paying him a fortune......The West Board left to sort out this mess....

Russ, it was in the same report from Marina Go when she was talking about the three yrs salary cap mess. And stated by the journo who wrote the story, and it stated that the option is in their favour.
And it was on one of the football segments on Brisbane radio about a week later.and as others have said on fox, Seeing it was part of the article that Marina was in, I would imagine that if it was wrong, that at some time she would have made sure it was retracted or denied. As they have lately backed away from some of what she said about not being able to buy players.
At no time on the two occasions was Sironens or anyone else's name mentioned.
That's the figures that were used, so if you haven't seen or heard it how do you know that it's wrong. . I'm just telling you what was said, as are others that saw it on Fox

Clubs show little loyalty to players, once they no longer want someone, So players have to look at their own future. No one else will

I too saw this report somewhere recently and was shocked.
What's Marty and teddy worth then?
What about the friction this will cause from others knowing theres no money left for them?
Good young players but have major reservations about them ever being good enough to organize team.

With these numbers they will be loyal because nobody else will offer more.

I'm not claiming anything , Simply saying what was in the Sydney Morning Herald And was posted in an earlier thread by Ricksen, . , And what was also spoken about on a Fox sports show, and on radio.
I know that a lot here, who chose not to believe anything in the press that they don't agree with . But its there in black and white . I'm also pointing out that there have been no denials from the club or anyone else. ( they wouldn't give any details anyway , and rightly so) but I'm sure that if the report was wrong that they would at least come out and say it was wrong , as they did when they back flipped on what Marina said in another newspaper( the Australian, I think)about not being able to recruit players.
It's easy for any of us to say, "that's 100% wrong," because we don't like something,
But wanting something to be wrong , doesn't make it wrong,

I don't know myself if it's right or not, but obviously neither does any of us.
After seeing other things that we have done in the not too distant past with contracts and Backloading etc. I would not be a bit surprised if it was spot on.
I'm just as interested to find out if it's right as you are
I'm simply asking Russ and Paws, what information they have that means it's not an accurate report .they must have something pretty tangible to be so adamant that it's not true.
Or is that just wishful thinking.

the only possible reason that I can see for this if it's true, is that Mayer or whoever did their contracts, backloaded them until 2017, ( knowing what was coming with our cap mess) and also gave them the option. Either way , we have set ourselves for possible problems at that time. (Before all the deniers start getting flustered, I said , **possible** problems.)
For what it's worth, they both become free agents on November 1st

Last time I looked we still had all our rep players.
We are talking a year and a half rom now - if they remain injury free in first grade and keep developing who's to say they won't be worth that?
Halves demand the big money - that's just the way it is.
