Mitchell Pearce Offerred Deal?

Bizarre that the Rorters can even fit $400k in their salary cap, with Cordner, Guerra, Pearce, JWH, SKD, Friend, Ferguson, Tupou etc already in the team…..
They are the Salary Cap Rorters after all

Even though I hate the Roosters they should have heaps of room after letting go Maloney, Jennings and RTS

i think mamatiger mentioned this first - days ago -
secondly teddy23 - probably explains why they are just above newcastle
just because you have money doesn't mean you have brains

I won't lose sleep if we lose Moses. He's a talented kid, but we're already going to have Farah's 900k to invest in. If Moses moves on that brings our kitty to almost 1.5 mil to splurge on the open market. I'd like to think we could gain 2 or 3 marquee players for 2018\. And that's not even including Brooks money if he goes as well.

One thing is for sure…no player has any loyalty these days and clubs are pretty much the same.

And contracts mean nothing, if a player wants out tomorrow....the clubs always let them go, example - Blake Austin, Taupau etc etc etc. Its actually in the clubs favor to have shorter contracts these days because if you have to get rid of a player who still has 2-3 years to run it becomes a financial disaster for the club....example - Farah, Moltzen, etc etc etc.

It would be great for the club if guys like Teddy, Moses & Brooks become world beaters and want to stay at the Tigers...... that would be great, but who knows what will happen.

The good thing though as we have seen this year......new talent is always coming through ie Cleary, Ash Taylor TM Martin etc etc so if we do lose one of our stars in the years to come we should have the money to go out and buy a player of high quality as well.

And if one of our guys falls of the edge of a cliff form wise....we should have the opportunity to buy a quality player to replace him with.

As long as the Admin is sensible in respect to player retention and acquisition we should be in a position to compete with other clubs.

Even if we do have the funds, are players actually going to want to come here?

Etc etc

With a new centre of excellence etc, etc they answer should be yes.

as a betting man i would not take odds on about moses not been a rooter in 2018, i hear a deal has already been done. and it funny info came out of the penrith camp.

And the rumours begin…......................have to wait a long time to establish how accurate this one is though :astonished: !!

I know - as usual it is bs from bp.

This guy is a Tiger - Moses ain't going anywhere.

He's actually an unwanted Eel - But don't let the truth get in the way

I'm talking now not when he was a foetus.

Well, that comment on Moses really surprises me GNR. I know you are looking at freeing dough to buy players but . . . .

I don't think you are going to buy a player that tries harder, gives 110% and has the talent that Moses has now - let alone when he plays another 100 games.
Just look at the way he has improved this year, especially since ET has joined us. Get another experienced second rower and centre and there would be no stopping him. just my opinion.

I agree Russell, he is the guy whom can take over a game - has the lot. Just needs to keep it consistently. I loved his chuckle the other day when he the uprights. If Moses goes I may go too.

IMO, Tedesco is already world beater, certainly the best NRL FB ATM. :sign:

Brooks looks more controlled when he takes the reigns in games, but the one thing I do like about Moses is that he never gives up even when everything is going wrong for him. That is a very admirable trait in such a young footballer as they all have a tendency to give up and disappear when things don't go their way.
