Just saw this online on the Sydney Morning Herald Website. Surely this can't be true:

The Roosters offer for Mitch Moses was about the $400,000-a-season mark, with more to come in 2018 and 2019.

His decision to sign a one-season deal with the Tigers is a better one financially for next year. It's significant that he was offered a long-term deal with the Tigers, but knocked it back.

Absolute lunacy if true. Maybe it was during the Moses and Brooks negotiations and was all part of the tactics to get them to stay.

It's interesting that the Roosters offered $400k and that was less than what we are paying him. I bet the increases in 2018 & 2019 were still not how much we are paying him for next year.

He looks to be improving. I wonder how much he is going to expect for 2018 & 2019.

How far back does that go? I know it's true but is it relevant - u/10s or something? Lol. I know he played a fair bit of junior footy in the Tigers system.
