Mitchell Pearce

H e is the guy we should be trying to snare .We all seen the real Farah in the city v country game when Farah had a real halfback calling the shots. So Mr Sheens you are the problem ,but most of the peeps who know their football knew that already .

Never liked him as a half, but after watching him work with Farah on Sunday i would like to see him playing with the Tigers.

He will never play for us.

I also love this attitude some of you have that players are just desperate to come here and its up to us to throw them a bone!

I don't like this attitude at all. Personally I don't think he is even good enough for us to worry about but add to that his attitude and I think why not pass.

Yeah, out of all the halfbacks on the market, Pearce is one we may as well avoid discussion on.

he always said he wanted to establish himself as a player first and would find it hard to do so at the tigers as everyone would compare him to his dad.
surely by now he has "established" himself in the NRL.

I however think this is highly unlikely to happen unless he was on the outer at the roosters in a major way

Your judging it really on one performance together and both players playin for a blues spot….totally different to the weekly grind of nrl....and the fact he never wanted to play for the tigers....but people that know league already knew that.

maybe their could be too many comparisons with his dad.
expectation leads to disappointmernt.

Oh I see, but that seems like a pretty lame reason for not ever wanting to play here. It's a different team, different era and he's a halfback, not a forward. Plus he has already made a name for himself elsewhere, so the pressure is off. Those who are going to compare him with his dad would have already done so, I reckon.

no i am not .im judging him on Farahs game ,he was allowed to play his role as a hooker something he hasnt been able to do for a lot of years now .
Some people can see one performance and judge somebody , be it good or bad .
Blind F reddy can see Farahs game is suffering because he hasnt had a real halfback ever since Prince departed.

anasta isnt here yet and god knows how he will turn out for us.

with all the mass talk of combating the wrestle and speeding up the ruck i wouldnt be jumping the gun on buying any players for that matter until we see what the actual outcome is in the coming months during games.

He did say (or it was reported at least) when he started out that he didn't want to play for the same club his old man did. Don't know if he's changed that view but he certainly doesn't need to think he's made it based on his name. He's proven himself as a classy halfback.

I'd say it is unlikely but I'd like to think the club and MP keep open minds on the matter.

I'd love to have him here, but I can't see it happening. If we had Pearce in our side now, we'd actually deserve the premiership favourites tag.

I'd sign him tomorrow… The perfect fit and possibly the missing piece of the puzzle.

Would probably accept an offer around 500k!

Years ago he stated he didn't want to play for the Tigers due to his Dad, too much expectation etc. He wanted to establish himself elsewhere and he'd have less pressure to do that.
