The introduction of gambling "talk" during NRL TV shows and coverage is to condition us to accept gambling as just another source of entertainment. Which it is for many, but the intent is to expand their customer base. As Justo wrote, they do this by setting up specials, even I was tempted to put some money on Benji scoring during the game, easy money, **I'm sure they expected to lose money on it but they'd get you to create an account and download the app, (the offer was only for bets via their app) makes your next bet ever so easy.**

But I wont open an acct.
I have to drive somewhere to put the bet on.
My lounge room and the TAB/Rosehill racecourse have always been different venues and as far as Im concerned it will stay that way.
But the kids that are being introduced to all this now.....everything is at their fingertips, and something potentially as damaging as gambling addiction, that could be catastrophic 20 years down the track
