MMM report possible Sheens to Warriors move

If Sheens does go I just hope the Tigers have a pretty sharp minded coach to replace him. I thought Brown had been signed up to coach St Helens next year, unless he has a clause that allows him to coach an Aussie side.

Crikey don't let Nathan Brown come to the club, he's been looking to get away from Huddersfield for quite a while & their results have gone downhill accordingly, please don't stop Tim looking for greeener pastures but Royce is not the answer, if we can't get Peter Gentle back from Hull FC then GEORGALLIS is the go to guy unless Daniel Anderson is available.

Anyone from outside the current set-up, if our defense had been good this year i would be open to the Georgallis idea

Well guys… Am in NZ 2 nite... Getting ready to watch Tigers NYC with a pizza & a glass of red to wash it down.. It's been all over the radio here today.... Sheens to coach warriors..Eric Watson is in town tomorrow so expect a decision either way by Monday

There is absolutely no mention of Sheens on the nzwarriors forum???

Theres a fair bit on the one i just joined today

Hagan would be good, I reckon. I hadn't considered him before. Wouldn't say no to Jim Dymock either, but I still think Folkes would be the best option if he's available. On the rumour about Sheens leaving, all I can say is please God, let it be true!!!

Speculation is mounting that Tim Sheens will be the new coach of the Warriors.

A number of media outlets and commentators across the Tasman say the current Wests Tigers coach will sign with the Warriors, replacing Brian McClennan.

Aussie league personality Peter Peters says he's heard the strong mail.

"He would be the sort of coach that would relish he challenge. He's proven that he's more than willing to leave Sydney where he grew up. He went to Canberra and took them to the premiership, he went to North Queensland."

Meanwhile, 35-year-old Catalan Dragons coach Trent Robinson has signed a three-year contract to lead the Roosters from next year.

If you think about folkes… Think about why dragons got him in the first place.. And what will probably happen to Price if not 2013 but next year

Sheens would be a good fit for the Warriors and with the CEO on TV saying he is safe. It's a good chance he is gone.

Hopefully we have a clean out of a number of the coaching staff and bring in a few fresh minds.

I'd say if nothing happens within the next week he will be staying.

The other thing to consider is that if Sheens ends up at Warriors then it's odds on that Benji will go home if not 2013 then 2014… If you think about it there ain't to many clubs that would knock back a channel to get Benji ... And as far as I know the Warriors haven't got a replacement for Maloney

carlos tuimavave will most likely be their 5/8 next year. i don't see benji leaving the tigers, regardless of if sheens leaves

This rumour looks to be gathering huge momentum - very happy

Geez the Roosters taking a real gamble there with the untried Robinson, good luck to them.

Benj said last year where Sheens coaches doesn't affect him. Also said he'd never play against Tigers.
