Im assuming they will be our back three.

Do we play a rushing defence again like we did with manly?
I think we might, we did the same against Saints in last years semi and with an ounce of luck & a ref with balls we wouldve been succesful

The only danger I think with a rushing defence is a team with a good kicker can find space, and it is a way to counteract a defence with good line speed. Chips and grubbers in behind the line at the back end of the halves along with deep kicks.

I think our back 3 might be in for a busy night on Fri…
 
I'd definately be thinking Soward will try and sneak some small kicks in behind our outside men.

I think we have to play a rushing defence and hope for the best regarding Sowards kicks.
 
the big danger is boyd hes been able to find space and put his backs away the last 2 games we've played against them

Ink we might go with a compressed line again It would worked last time we played Saints but we were without Lawrence ,Ellis . They may even mix it up just to keep them guessing
 
I'd go with the rushing up defence again. Better to give the Dragons less time to think about what they're going to do with the ball. They're a very well structured team so the Tigers need to try and disrupt that and I think the rushing defence will go some way towards doing this. Keep the ruck nice and tight and the Tigers should be in this game with a decent chance IMO.
 
As long as we complete our sets, dont turn over cheap ball and give them extra possesion, we should be able to maintain such a defense all night
Our completions have been very good lately, then the attack has started to slowly flow from that and last week the defence to complete it….Ive seen this before with us getting some form back -it happen in facets
 
Furthermore, if our forwards make netted like they did last week, well we could be up for a upset.

We also need to wear Soward out if possible by running forwards at him and pestering him (legally) after he kicks. Annoy him and put him off his game.
 
Molten will need to run the ball back if he Is playing fullback , we will need the meters

Thats my concern, an astute coach like bennett will
probably note he is gun shy
