Moltzen hooked?

GNR, I hope your a bigger man than to bag Moltz every chance that you get. I didn't see your posts after the Dragons game but hope that even the Moltzen haters could be Man enough to admit when they are wrong. I am first to admit that Moltzen hasn't played to his best this year but i would never get on here nearly every week bagging him out over every single thing when others are making mistakes as well. The problem i think is that you want someone to blame and the best you can come up with is TIM MOLTZEN. pathetic i say.

Hooked because his hand was stuffed.

Whats the benefit of bagging a bloke in this situation?

He had a dislocated finger ffs

I have a unknowingly wicket kept for over an hour with dislocated finger to A Grade cricketers

Will people stop making excuses for him He cost us another game

I suppose the bad pass he through was due to the dislocation

Tim Simona at fullback and leave Moltzen on the sideline for the rest of the season to recover from his horrific injury

Seems robbie may of played on with serious hand injury. I know it's hard to watch but I just watched his attempt at inu before THAT goal. It looks like he kinda slides in rather than attack the ball. It may be the camera angle

Because all dislocations are exactly the same?

I sprained my ankle once. I was back running in a day or so, therefore anyone taking longer must be a crap player.

yay logic!

Do you know what sucks? having to defend a player that played like crap because people can't have a rational view on how they just played.

A bit harsh there…..he's improving, give him time, he needs confidence

Was he? he definitley deserved to be after that weak performance. I saw him in the hands of the trainer not long before he came off, looked to be an issue with his hand. Broke a nail dropping the kick-off perhaps?

On a side-note Timmy Simona looked solid at the back. He's a good kid, its a shame that he's headed overseas

I think all of us are mad right now, but why anyone goes out of their way to hammer one of our own so regularly is beyond me. Hopefully one day you have a chance to meet Tim Moltzen and get all this off your chest.

He played fairly well tonight and did well with most of his plays. Just to clarify, I wouldn't jump up and down and say he was motm, I'm only getting involved here because at some point the constant focus on the usual suspects gets very tiring to read.

Fine Lat You tell me why you think he dropped that kick off and then I'll actually tell you why did Actually forget that I'll tell you now why :bash

Because he isn't a natural fullback his technique in defusing kicks goes to pus everytime he is put under pressure when it really counts

Again what strengths does Moltzen have as a fullback and what weaknesses does he have

If you are honest with yourself he has more weaknesses than strengths at fullback and shouldn't be there

Oh and once the finger is back into place their isn't much pain at all unless you get hit straight on the finger or the joint from where the dislocation occurred If it was so bad don't stay on Simple really

I've dislocated fingers too.

Not every dislocation is exactly the same.

Its not about me or anyone else thinking Moltzen is the greatest fullback on earth.

Yep agree their all not the same

So when Jumper Leeds hits it on the top of the finger and then hits it where the dislocation occurs (I'm guessing that's what they still do to test whether it will still stand up to copping a direct blow ) and he is still in pain why doesn't he do 1 of two things

1/ Admit he is pain and tell Leeds he won't be able to take a direct hit and then gets replaced or

2/ Let someone know on the field to take the kick off

How bloody hard would that be

I don't know. But instead of lauding your own heroics with dislocations maybe accept that things didn't go down the way we all wanted.

Some people really need some tissues. Its almost like they're getting upset cos your attacking their family members. Timmy is a professional athlete, scrutiny comes with the territory. When your being paid the big bucks if you produce crap you deserve to be called on it, simple. Timmy is a big boy, he doesn't need all these knights in shining armour fighting his battles

Hows that crusade going gunner?

Its sad when I see Moltzen have a poor game, yet need to spend time defending him against BS claims about how crap he was. I'd like to spend time critiquing him too.

Your really cut about that one off-handed remark aren't you LaT? following me around like a puppy dog reminding me about it everywhere i go.

just got home and watched his attempted charge down of Inu's field goal. To me it looked like he slid out of the way of the field goal when going for the charge down?!..?
Can anyone else confirm this or am I just finding a reason to jump on the weekly bag Moltzen post?

I wouldn't flatter yourself. Its the Wests Tigers forum and I am a Wests Tigers fan. Its mere coincidence you and I post here.

Your sig implies that you hold yourself above everyone else though if they hold an opposing opinion, thats the issue.
