Its the off season, it could be time for some of us to relax? It will happen, eventually?
I'd say the fact the NRL is trying to prevent all its clubs leaving to form a new comp is taking up a fair amount of time over at Moore Park. At the end of the day, Schubert is just a cog in the greater NRL machine - even if he's done his thing, for all we know it might be buried under on David Gallop's desk waiting for his ok.

lmao… News owns Brisbane; Melbourne & Cowboys, plus you will need funding to form a competition. Funding seems to be the sticking point, considering the clubs have none and News have plenty :laughing:

Calm down Watto. I should have been clearer - I'm not saying it will happen, it won't - I'm suggesting that dealing with the issue is taking up a bit of time at the NRL and the "club revolt" is a more pressing issue for them than Tim Moltzen's contract dispute.

The marjority of teams start their pre-season next week don't they? you would think both teams would want it sorted before they start their pre-season so they can have their squads finalized

Sorry i could only post the link not the entire article. But apparently the latest development is that Moltzen is now threatning to sit out the season should he not remain with the Tigers in 2012\. Seriously who does this guy think he is? who is he to hold the NRL and Ian Schubert to ransom. This is getting embarressing now
