I thought that contracts signed throughout the year came into effect on Nov. 1\. each year. So maybe he is able pull out of the deal before that date if all parties are ok with it.

But there's probably more to it than just a date to pull out of a contract. Does anyone know more about how this stuff works?

Well I guess wheels are in motion, no denying it now. I wonder what the Dragons want in return, they're not going to just let him walk free. Me thinks a large monetary sum + an outside back.. perhaps Mitch Brown or Tim Simona.. just speculating.

depends.. if he was in contract still with the Tigers for 2012 and they aggreed to the ST GEORGE contract thats all good.. but the tigers would still need to hand the correct details and paperwork to the NRL To cancel his contract for 2012.. if they havnt done that, the contract between Moltz and SG is worthless… as Tigers still own him for 12 mths
