MOLTZEN? Thread

Moltz is the leading try scorer in our team and has equal highest amount of line breaks, how people are still putting him down leaves me lost for words.

I notice no one mentioned him kicking out on the full from the kick off

That could of been crucial . 12-8 Cowboys had a lot of ball and were straight back on attack

He was pretty good yesterday Still struggled with his positional play He got caught out a few times

He may get away with that against the Cowbees but he won't against the Storm

He's now coming up with more good plays than bad IMO, at the moment. He's still good for a couple of clangers each game, like Benji, but the difference is Benji will also come up with 2 or 3 try assists.

I'm happy for Moltzen to play out the year at fullback, but I think he'll be under all sorts of pressure to secure a starting spot next year.

I agree this could have been very costly but expanding on that a little i think all the kickers in the league seem to push it a bit much i mean its surprising we dont see it more often as they belt the crap out of the ball trying to get height on it

Is there a reason my thread name was changed???? Is this a forum??? Or a censored socialist boardroom??? Fairdinkum

that horrible pass shows why he prefers to dummy than pass.
the reason why he will never be a half is because he can't run at a line and put a ball where the hole is.
don't ever call him a ball playing fullback.

as for fullback,he has looked better the last few weeks and shown he has learned from some past mistakes.
wish he would communicate more with his wingers when fielding kicks though.

Go back and watch the final against the dragons last year where he throws a 20m pass at full sprint on his wrong side to put ayshford over then tell me he cant pass.

read what i said, run at a line and put a ball where the hole is
that play he was put through the line by lui and then he passed after the break.

after 70 first grade games you would think you could come up with a better example.

If you watch the pass ,even though it wasn't the best, might still have been ok if Tuquiri had have kept up with the game and not been 2 metres behind where he shoud have been.

good old ck blaming someone else as usual.
the pass was pathetic.but not as pathetic as your excuses.

It's a big call I know but is moltzen the most scrutinized player on here?! Gee wiz his game gets dissected every week. Give it a rest guys

Seems to be a lot of overuse of the word pathetic in this thread.
I wasn't blaming Tuquiri for the pass (which I noted wasn't good)- just making the observation it may not have ended as badly as it did if he was up with the play (which he wasn't).
Moltzen makes mistakes just like every other player - only difference is his receive more scrutiny on here than anybody else in the team.
Now it seems you have joined a lot of the other posters on here who need to resort to boorish remarks or attempts at derision at those you don't agree with.
I'm unsure what has led you to believe your opinion is to be taken as always correct ?
Perhaps an unjustified view of your own self worth?

and i have made the observation that moltzen can't run at a defensive line and and put a ball where the hole is.
