Anyone watch the Manly game today? Anyone see Brett Stewart allow bombs to bounce? Not once but twice. Yes Brett Stewart, the player some people are picking as their NSW fullback. Anyway keep bagging Moltzen. The haters will continue to be haters.

Did you see Stewart's try saving tackle on Blake Ferguson? Did you see Moltzen get palmed in the face by Cheyse Blair?

The only reason that Moltzen looked OK last night because the Titans long kicking game wasn't great He never gets involved in second phase

But did u also see Moltzen run down sandow vs the eels in the trial? Did u see moltzens brilliant one-on-one try saving tackles on the try line on Paul fallen and Ben creagh earlier in the year??

I think that would be my point too…If I had to rank all the current fullbacks in the league, Moltzen would have to be in the bottom couple for mine. I've tried to like him as a player for a while now....but I don't.

Moltzen is and always has been rocks and diamond. We are just seeing plenty of rocks and not many diamond ATM.

Mind you I can't think of a fullback who isn't a star in any team: Dugan, Morris, Stewart, Slater,Mini, Inglis, Boyd, Hayne, Gardner (injured I know), Hoffman, Bowen to name a few. All superstars or young guns.

Locke and Coote as well. If your being honest, if you were to rate every first choice fullback in the comp, Moltzen would easily be in the bottom 3\. Even thats probably being kind

Brett Morris and Inglis have played far less games than Moltzen there and are revelations at fullback.

I don't know about Moltzen. He seems very low on confidence at the moment - maybe he reads this forum…

He seems to survive on the hope he'll repeat his form of last year and the lack of an agreed upon alternative. Personally I'd try Joel Reddy there. Made the best catch of a bomb (a contested one too!!) I've seen from one of our guys for years. Sure I'm basing my opinion on a single evidence but when you see countless bombs dropped, left to bounce, or otherwise stuffed up royally, that's good enough for me.
