He was pretty good on Saturday night without being outstanding. Caught so many kicks on the full, a huge tick, took the ball back fairly well.
It shouldn't be forgotton that he trained all year at Half, it took a few games settled in a position last season to come good, once he did he finished very strongly.
Most of the criticism he cops on here is highly unfair.

Some pretty unfair comparisons going on in here.
Moltzen is not even the Wests Tigers first choice fullback, so why would you expect him to be better than any of the current NRL fullbacks?
A fair comparison would be Moltzen vs all the second choice fullbacks in the comp, and I think you'll find he's somewhere in the middle.

I don't care if you all think i'm a goose. I am gunna stick up for Tim Moltzen as long as he is playing. Fair enough he hasn't set the world on fire but who has (besides Beau)??? what i'm sick of is people on here, that no matter how good Tim Moltzen goes they just bag him. He is supposed to be the Tigers number 7 That is where he trained not at fullback. Am i Mistaken, but wasn't Molts the Australian Schoolboy halfback???? He is only at the Wests Tigers now because we need him!!!! What i'm saying is we need him( i'd have him at 7 not 1) The fact is that alot of people forget we can't have Tedesco for this season he is injured.We have Tim Moltzen Deal with it and worry about something else.

He does some good things but in the main Moltzen is an average/fringe first grader who wouldn't be irreplaceable.

Let's not forget moltz backed out of a 3 year deal to stay at the tigers, He obviously loves the club. Also I wouldn't say he is heartless I didn't see him stop chasing Crocker when we played raiders. The guy is just running low on confidence and high on pressure
I'm sure you all know how good he can be and that's probably the most frustrating part, albeit he will never be slater or Cronk in their respective positions but he is far from talentless.
