Str8 swap for JLJ?

Cmon

For Moltz we should get the Trbojevic brothers and Jamie Lyon

If not no deal

No, we will let him go there, then in a year they will trade him back for Tedesco, Taupau and Woods to help ease salary cap issues for us.

This will ease salary cap pressure as he was on decent money until he got injured…. - or was it only this year he was signed to?

Can't remember if it was 15 or 16 TBH.

2015 is the last year of his contract … Free agent next year

Shame really. He is much better than anything he ever did with us.

A lot of talent and like Lawrence hit by injury. I think highly of him and it is a shame that he has not realised his talent due to injury.

Matai would be a fair swap, always injured :stuck_out_tongue:

The difference is Matai always plays with heart, unlike Moltzen.
I still remember Moltzen wearing the no. 1 and constantly passing to his wingers instead of running it himself :unamused:
Glad we can finally get rid of him and free up some cash.

You are right Tigermama, Tim promised plenty but delivered very little unfortunately.

The guy could have been a very good half. Was always a terrible fullback. Sheens ridiculous positional change along with horrible injuries ruined him. Had plenty of talent. Hope he picks up at manly but can't see it happening.

Would love to see Molltzen have some real success at Manly,he just could not take a trick over the past few years and is a way better footballer than most people on this forum make out

Moltzen leaving would have already been factored into our current salary cap issues from the get go. He is off contract so him leaving makes zero difference

All being fair should have played a game or two this year ahead of Hoeter and Malone. These things happen in rebuilding phases though, he was always leaving, even if he didnt know it.

Hope he plays a bit of first grade at Manly.

Sorry but that's just wrong.

The guy has played his entire career with a metal plate holding his skull together, and has come back from knee reconstruction after knee reconstruction.

He may have faults, but heart isn't one of them.

Bullshit….he was a pea heart on the field many times, I also saw him pull off some gutsy tough defence....very much a confidence player

I wonder how much fracturing his skull played on his mind at times

I wish him luck , if anyone deserves some , he does

Yeah it was plain as day sometimes his head was right and he'd kill it (rare) other times he was gunshy…(usually)

Abraham , my opinion is based on his performances on the field…Nothing to do with his "toughness" in overcoming his injuries.
Plenty of players overcome injuries again and again, and still put in 100%. Moltzen wasn't one of them. Especially wearing the No. 1.
