Momirovski

Bad luck Slimy didn't show the resolve, mental fortitude and fight back spirit Momo showed against the Knights when he played for us.

@The_Patriot I think he isn't fast or big enough to be a gun player but he does a lot of little things well. He scored a try where he has some work to do.

Dene Halatau wasnt fast enough or big enough or even skillful enough.

one of our best ever big game players however.

He will be doing well to emulate Deno but he has the right kind of head.

His last 3 games he's run for 129. 149 & 144 metres. Doesn't look like a star to me, but can't fault his effort.

Yes wears No.7 for the Eels - you know "The Tanker" - if I keep going I will be banned.

Oh right now I understand.....Slimy is too good for what it's worth

Absolutely "Slimy" is giving him a wrap - I take it back!

I give him credit for coming good after a rough start last week.
He looks like he needs a tailored weights program to get his body up to first grade standard.
With some strength and durability we could reveal a quality player.
I said a few weeks ago I thought he was a year or two off first grade - at the moment he looks like a boy amongst men.
One real positive though, he seems to have a bit of ticker and you can't coach that.

Maybe it was the "advice" I was giving him from the stands.

I think he's one of those players who will continue to make small improvements to his game the longer he stays in FG. No word of a lie, the Roosters rated him higher than Matterson, and my source on this works at the Chooks in a consultancy role. Have to give him credit for not dropping his head after a rough start last week - not too many players would have picked themselves up after that.

Not here of all places

Thats the key. We seriously lack strong minds in this team. Dont throw out someone who is showing one.

Cant help but feel so many of our fans have it wrong with this guy.

For way too long this club has recruited on potential and yesterdays talent.

This time we have a kid who may not be the fastest, not be the most skillful but he has a quality this club has lacked for a decade.

MENTALITY.

He showed it against the Knights over coming a very poor start and finishing strongly.

Ill take that every day of the week thanks. Had enough of soft players who go to water.

Yep I can agree with this. Maybe I was too harsh.

I'm pretty sure you probably pulled wings off butterflies when you were little as well Gal.

Don't really know what you mean.

He is a plodder, I don’t see how people were talking him before he even came here based on what other people said and justified it by saying that he scored a try in the semi-final. No speed, no strength, no power and no class. He is not dumb which is probably the only benefit having him in the team. He is not first grade standard.

Yes he is.

Much better game from momirovski. I’m more than happy to be wrong about him. He is showing that he is determined and footy smart. I’d reckon his strong attitude would impress Madge. His goal kicking could be a real bonus as well.
However, despite all this he is very very slow so I’m not sure what the answer is.

Maybe, but the more I watch Eiso, the more I think he is a genuine plodder, very rarely hits the line hard, he is big, but you wouldn't know it
