He is okay. He is a stop gap first grader. He can do a job with the right players around him.

The thing is, we just need 13 good footballers and only about 4 of these type of players, instead of 12 "stop gap" guys and 5 or so good first graders

Is that you Max

Had a very good game last night. Showed enough in the last 120 minutes of footy to suggest he will get better over time.

One thing you can say about him, he plays with pure heart. Isn't afraid of the dirty work out of our own end.

No6 by trade so maybe he might by a Smokey for Benji’s gig when he retires. He seems to have plenty of skill, just lacking some toe

@supercoach I see a heart and desire in him, don’t see much skill in him. I think he deserves his spot purely based on his efforts and him being the best we have at the moment... says a lot.

He is a plodder, I don’t see how people were talking him before he even came here

Maybe, but the more I watch Eiso, the more I think he is a genuine plodder, very rarely hits the line hard, he is big, but you wouldn't know it

I have no idea why the Huth is even considered for first grade. He has never shown anything. I can't think of one match where I thought he played well. It's a total mystery to me.

I think Momo is a good one, preferably a centre in my eyes, doesn't need to be as quick as a winger. If we eventually could put a fast winger (need the cash of course) outside of him as he improves and puts on a bit of muscle in the off season - we could be on a real winner.

I give him credit for coming good after a rough start last week.

Maybe it was the "advice" I was giving him from the stands.

Like
'don't leave the ball in the field of play when getting driven back into the ingoal'

I'm pretty sure you probably pulled wings off butterflies when you were little as well Gal.

Russ as WT's supporters we are the butterflies , the only problem unlike real butterflies our wings grow back in March every year to be ripped off most Augusts

@TheDaBoss I like what I see. For me he is a developing his game but not a wing 3/4. Better suited at centre. Time will tell.

I like how balanced he looks on his feet. Have seen a good balanced sweve a couple of times now in his runs. Paul Whatuira had great balance which helped him to the try line plenty of times by being able to stay on his feet

Momo's play against the Cows was his best with us.
I hope his confidence zooms and he gets to feel this is his footy home.

Named at centre for PM's XIII to take on Fiji on Friday October 11

Well done Paul, will be a great experience for him.

Good on him, he had a horror start but worked his way in and finished the year really well. Scored eight tries despite playing less than half the year. Goal kicking was good outside the Canterbury game where he had the yips.
