Having Momo start ahead of Garrick is promising. Must be impressing in training. I think we need to extend his contract - clubs can target him in a few weeks time. He hasn't earnt big money yet, but to add on an extra year with a modest payrise would be a win for us.

I also hope we're keeping an eye on the Fiji team for an upcoming Kikau, Semi or Koro

Agree. Has shown promise as an outside back, but should never again be considered a fullback. He is on par with Douehi.

A bit harsh to judge him playing in a position he's literally never even trained at before. He was poor against the Sharks, but a bit of coaching positional wise and he could have been a heap better

Not to mention that he had not trained there and only had 15 odd minutes to prepare.

Agree with calls to extend him. Even if only one year, he's shown he's a very capable three quarter line player. He'll only get better.

We need to start looking at signing this kid up for longer. He has shown that he has class and that he can bounce back from adversity. Just look at the Newcastle and Canterbury games and how he has moved forward in a short space of time. He may not turn out to be a superstar but he is the type of player you want around the club.

I actually think he mght turn out to be a superstar. He looked like he was class even in a much better side last night. Thier is a lack of centres at rep level in general and he kicks goals better and better. Think we might have a suprise star on our hands

Urgh, I still don’t know why we didn’t just move Nofa to fullback and Talau to centre. ?

Not for long I’d say

Half way through the season most wanted Momo punted ... but those of us that have been around awhile actually saw the upside in him and knew he would work out ! This forum burns players way to early then tries to through water 💦 after the act .

The forum also has blokes down as origin standard players way too early aswell.

He looked good didn’t he.
Funny enough he played near on half the game at Fullback in addition to stints at centre on both sides of the field and handled each, the only downside being the try he let in. I won’t go as far as superstar as he doesn’t have that speed that the superstars have but he seems to have a good footy iq that can certainly compensate.
Our starting centre for a long time coming!

Well until he wants an upgrade or wants to be in a winning club or wants to get his teeth fixed.....
