Momorovski wants out

I doubt we are picking up any of the tab if it was Momirovski that asked for the release.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are. It's about us getting Laurie more than anything else.

It also means cap wise Laurie is signed for less than Momirobski was on..good business

Maybe not I believe we are paying a fair bit of Momo's contract at Pamfers lucky he wasn't on big $$$ here

Well really that depends doesn't it.

I think Momo has proved to be a smart footballer and have a pretty cool head, Naden, well I'm not all that sure where his head is at.

Anyway, time will tell and all will eventually be revealed.

Me personally, at this point in time, would be willing to stick my neck out and back Momo.

Someone posted on here that the Panthers forum version of the Pom said it was about $50k. That's not a lot of money.

Bargain

I think momo falls into the same situation as did Cory Thompson , a player who had some smarts and gave their all as well as being well respected in the club but we are now looking for a mix of youth and experience and in some way banking on comming up with X factor players of our past

Doubt we will see Corey Thompson much in the GC team list for 2021

How many more of Cleary’s signings are we sending back to him?
I’m really liking the way Madge is going about building this team.

I could be reading to much between the lines, but it sounds like Momo is having a dig at the Tigers with some of his press comments. If so it's disappointing, and it seems nearly every player that leaves does this, where as with other clubs, you don't hear about it from their departing players. Which asks the question, do we communicate properly to players ? Either way it's disappointing as we have enough of a problem attracting top line players.

It can’t be easy to convince a player to leave, while at the same time, have him singing the praises of the club or coaching staff. Especially, when those players want to stay. Which other clubs have needed a clean out of this magnitude?

I've read all the comments as well as what Momo is quoted as saying.

I'm not seeing where the anger is coming from on this forum. He is open and honest, I don't see it as dumping on WT at all, in fact I thought it was a bit opposite.

But everyone will read their own take on it.

I was thinking the same thing, although I don't know what other players departing other clubs say, as I'm probably not interested, but am interested in what players from this club are saying as they move on-unless it's media putting their spin on what's being said-it sure does make you wonder doesn't it:astonished:

Agree! I just felt he was saying nice things about his new employer (and new fanbase), as is common when you move jobs. He also said NRL was a business, he got a feeling he wasn't foremost in Madge's plans and there were no hard feelings on either end.

I've been interviewed before where the 'pull' quote ends up being something you said, out of context. I feel that is probably the case with many of these stories, like Huth. in Huth's case he certainly put in while he was here.

The anger is coming from couch coaches bashing their computers over a few words said , i'm not really sure what else momo could have said really, definitely feels a lot smoother transition than the Aloiai / Matterson / Moses mess

I'm still trying to see where the dumping is in his comments.... Man we're a fickle bunch.

There seems to be something going on with the centres at Pamfers. For mine Naden seems to be on the outer and I reckon Momers has been bought for this reason. I reckon strangely enough he is a better chance of getting a run at Pamfers than here.

If you had the choice of NADEN or MOMO
NADEN wins by the length of the straight

Not in my book.

Not so sure - maybe by a nose. If you look closely at the white line you can tell.

Moma is streets ahead of Naden, particularly defensively.
Ivan must have had enough of the slack defensive efforts of a couple of his backs, namely Source and Naden. He’s fixed that with Jennings and Moma imo.
