Monster

Another great display by Bronson in a defeated side running well as a wide runner…
I mean...what would prompt a coach to play him as a prop forward??

He was certainly running very strongly and offloading frequently. I don't remember him missing a tackle either. He has certainly kicked-on and well done to the young man.

Good question. Why he was ever moved from the centres is an even better question ???

I watched him closely after the game why that presentation was happening and he dead set looked like he was nearly crying. The bloke will always be a Tiger at heart, he`s one that should have never been let go of.

In saying that, we don`t exactly have a bad side at the moment. We`ll win the comp imo, but could`ve also have won the comp and kept players such as Bronson, Shannon Gallant and even Halatau imo.

I appreciated his handling and defensive errors more than anything today.

But he is a fine backrower nonethe less

i think we should of kept halatau if sheens is persistant on having "utility fitz" on the bench

I wasn`t Halatau`s biggest fan and I think he was becoming a very stale footballer with us, but I think a stint in the reserves would`ve snapped him out of it, we didn`t need to let him go imo. He`ll go well for the Bulldogs and we`ll go better than well without him, but I just think players such as Dene and Bronson much like Liam and Bryce Gibbs along with obviously Farah and Benji made the Wests Tigers what they are today. The Wests Tigers largely with the influence of Tim Sheens are a club that relies mainly on it`s juniors and players that have come through our junior system. When this happens it`s a bond that can never be broken and imo a big part of the reason why we can now be 20 points behind in games and still come back and win !!!

And where was the 'monster'' when the going got tough for Canberra? Looking pretty out wide thats where.

He's the type we are slowly getting rid of. The ones that look good in attack when the goings easy but go missing when it gets tough. Typical kiwi forward IMO, at the risk of being racist.

His contract expires at Canberra next year doesn't it? So does payten here. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he comes back.

Harrison was strong in the first half for Canberra but I think the Tigers will invest in the likes of Dwyer and Schirnack rather than chase Harrison again.

I was saying the whole game why did we get rid of him and then he came out with handling and defensive errors.

He is a quality player. Big, strong, fast and with good footwork. Is he as good as Ellis / Heighno & Fulton ? I'm not sure.

Talk about nostalgia. He's hot and cold. Played well when they were going well, made a couple of mistakes and then went missing in action.
He'd be playing State Cup if he was still at the Tigers. We have too many players that are way better than him. We gave him every opportunity, he is talented, but he just never developed into the player he could have been. That's why he's at the Raiders and not one of the top teams.

would be a good impact player off the bench here, but he was totally mis-used here, there is no doubting that

Agreed. He's hot and cold but why anyone would use a wide running second rower like him as a prop is just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
