Completely agree Fraze, the boys club attitude is embarrassing and a sad reflection on the institution.

These blokes need to realise footy is a business, and clubs are to be run with a degree of professionalism. And a key feature of this professionalism, is that you don't pick who you get to play/work with. That is up to the club and which players/staff they believe are best equipped to produce results for the club. The class of 2012 didn't deliver what they told us they would, and there must be changes made to make sure the catastrophe of this year is never repeated again.

Whoever the new coach will be needs to rip in and give these guys some home truths.

I disagree in the sense that whoever is inking the deal with the bunnies is doing so because of the injustice in forcing players out who are on contract or close to it.
I'd be annoyed if a team mate got essentially banished from the club especially when they are performing.

Your team getting on with each other is essential…. Any good coach will tell you that. Benji and Robbie having a falling out rumours only come out when we are going badly. Pretty good connection if you ask me.

If you lose all pride in the club then what are you playing for. I'm pretty sure if it's Fulton he's not all about the money...

He bases these posts on wishful thinking.

Beau was also on the verge of signing a three year deal but look how that is turning out…

I really hope we don't lose Fulton, he was one of our best this year.

Well, whoever conjured the rumour stated that the player linked to Souffs was unhappy with the departure of both Ryan and Heighington, as if to imply it was a big factor in the player looking for a contract elsewhere.

To try and say Ryan and Heighington were performing is a little fanciful. Despite being very reliable, Beau lacks speed and size and fails to offer much potency in attack as well as having some defensive deficiencies. Heighno, while once being great, no longer has the impact he used to.

Of course camaraderie is important within a playing group and of course it's upsetting when close mates leave the club. But as professionals, you've got to move on and accept that decisions are made for a reason, and decisions had to be made after the team's abysmal performance this year. No doubt Heighno and Beau were key exponents of what we lacked this year.

Sorry but I disagree.
Beau is one of the reasons this team has had the limited success it has had this year.
As I've said before his lack of speed is a myth.
Heighnington is definitely not a reason the team was far below its capabilities this season.
You can't believe in a club if it delivers injustice to players and uses them as scapegoats for a horrible season.
Look at how the players don't even know what their future looks like.

Both players had crucial parts in getting us wins towards any chance of making the finals and Beau should have been playing wing all season

just name the player, its not like your naming the source…
i heard its ayshford.

Just one Beau - He didn't have a single line break in his 11 games on the wing in 2012 , Lote had 6 in the same amount of games - I know thats not everything but it is interesting

i hope it is asyford can't wait for next year now i reckon the tigers might be making some hard calls but the right calls

Beau also conceeded less tries and was better fielding kicks all year too. For a winger and a fullback, I know which i'd prefer.

NRL Rumours ‏@NRLRumourJG
if your referring to Ashyford or Lawrence then no that is not who I am referring to (although Aysh leaving is a possibility)

According to original poster it's not Ayshford.
