Have to agree they at least put up some effort against last year's grand finalist.

Will give the Team a tick overall on that effort as the game kept me interested up to around the 70th minute then knew that we did not have the points in us.
There attack went missing most likely as no Benji, but the trade off is his defense will be an interesting call next week with the spine, think Benji will be in call with be between Brooks Vs Reynolds?

Won't be mass changes next week however few players still need still to step up.
Mybe, JB both centres lacking any real punch.
Good 2nd game by TT long term prospect.
Lawry tried hard think will retain his spot, still unsure on Seyfarth?
Play with this effort and we could win the next two games hopefully??

Packer goes without saying. Lawrence as much as I love the bloke is done.

Brooks I would drop for a week and see how Reynolds and Benji go. Reynolds on the right and Benji can hang on the left where he can be better hidden in defence.

Seyfarth is plodder personified and Packer has an IQ in the negatives.

Packer has a Law Degree so his IQ would be higher than most on this Forum.

Ted Bundy was also quite intelligent.

Maybe he should apply his efforts toward that.

I'm sure he studied contract law especially.

Give Shawn Blore a go...young kid and would want to show what he's made of on the pitch...get him out there next week for Lawrence of Seyfarth...plodders

He probably is not ready but it should not be long .

So was Al

Canberra were gaining ascendency. Packer whilst an easy scape goat wouldn’t have made much difference, we just couldn’t go the 80 and had too little in attack.

I enjoyed packer and musgrove thought they had starch we lacked

I think the one to drop might be BJ. He's not had good service, but he hasn't been good defensively, he looks slow and he makes errors. I don't see what Talau would do worse in his position. Been a real disappointment so far, another big money older player signed up and not doing much. Still early days and I think he tries hard, but it hasn't clicked yet.

Reynolds has as much impact as a wet paper bag, Benji can’t tackle and Brooks needs to be a number 2. Anyway you turn it’s a bad outcome.

Does anyone have a breakdown of who’s contact finishes when because let’s be honest here no one is taking any players off our books. It was an improved performance but there aren’t many in our squad who’d make the starting 13 at other clubs.

Yep. Brooks is comfortable in the knowledge that he has no real threat coming from underneath to take his spot. He's in cruise control.....never shows any passion, even in interviews he just stared blankly and goes through the motions IMO. He mightn't like doing interviews but it would be nice to see a bit of spark and fire in him occasionally.
Drop him for a week or 2, let him know he can't just coast along and still get picked every week. Benji looked shattered last Tuesday when he was dropped: it means something to him.
Benji at 7, Reynolds at 6 next week would be good to see.
